I still like the level of accuracy the film has to the dances from the show.

they used motion capturing technology on actual dancers so it should be accurate

@@pierrejune nice , always sweet with some ''do it right from the start'' its that kind of detail attention that can make something last beyond the 'era' of the visuals its made with so to speak

Girl power !!! Love that the girls are doing the Colin Dunne and Michael Flatley parts. Here we are, 29 years removed from the Eurovision song contest and I am STILL in love wuth this show !!! Whenever I'm having a bad day, I turn off the phone, order something decadent to eat and binge watch Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. For those 4 hours, I feel like I'm transported to a world where my problems can be forgotten. I'm going to see if Pandora has Bill whelan's music and if they do, it's going on my playlist !!! Shocking for a former heavy metal music head !!😱

For the Reel Around the Sun part, the lead dancer in the film was doing the same technique Colin Dunne did during the New York premiere.

I love Irish culture, dancing and I was really fascinated by the animation... Wow spectacular 😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌🏽

this has been on my watch later list and I have to see it! i adore Riverdance and just got to see it live in Melbourne last week. plus I am a new Irish dancer :)

It is a amazing animation. I cannot believe that the super-fast movement was able to be converted to animation. Riverdance has been touring in Japan, as of 05/26/2024, when I watched this video. I watched it twice in Tokyo this time. This video reminded me the fantastic show!! Great!!

Had to turn off when the Russian Dervish music started it's far too frenetic repetitive & long beyond belief. I'll watch the rest of the video later.
