Beronica def has in the 1950s timeline in Season 7. I saw that word, "canon" under their names on a fan Wiki page. It made me smile. Yes, we didn't get to see THIS version of them become a canon couple, much less be endgame, but in a different universe, they were in a relationship, at least for a time.

They did something in the last season that puts these characters back into the 1950's, with little memory of their lives in the present timeline. Apparently, Earth was destroyed by a comet in the present & they were somehow able to all be placed into a different universe. In THAT universe, they become canon. I didn't watch the whole season, but they have 4 sweet, intimate, & romantic scenes that I have watched countless times. You can find clips of those scenes here on YT. They look different, though, because of the styles of the time period. Also, for some reason, V & Archie look older!
