I get the sneaking suspicion that none of this was scripted. The director just sent Crispin Glover over to Dennis Hopper's real house with a cameraman and this naturally unfolded.

Believe it or not, Hopper was 100% sober during this period. I think he was directing Colors at this time as well.

This movie portrays practically every kid I grew up with in the 80's

My mother and I loved this movie when it came out. She is now 91 and I am 61. Lots of memorable stuff and Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper stand out.

This is the " Rebel Without A Cause" for Gen X, hands down!

Didn't we all have a friend like Feck back in the 80s?.I know I did and he was just like Feck except he was missing his arm and he also had great weed and always had his pistol out.

Oddly enough this feels like a realistic weed pick up. Not that I’ve ever had a gun pointed at me from my weed guy (yet), but the whole part where Feck knows he’s only there to pick up weed. And simply ask “How much you want?”. Basically like, “cut the bull shit, how much? I’ll get it”.
