Kalax is definitely up there. While I agree its the case for Midnight’s original work, their recent work hasn’t really been the same. Silence was a true breath of fresh (but nostalgic) air.

Silence is River of Darkness II and there's no doubt about it. I have a playlist on Spotify with just the two of them back to back and listen to it semi-regularly. The Midnight and Essenger need more collabs!!! Silence still gives me chills... Love your content, keep it up! :)

Rivers of Darkness was the first track that got me into the midnight and remember going on a late night walk feeling on top of the world ❤️

I like to think that The Midnight got the name/concept for this song from that great 80s jam “You Belong to the City”: "Living in a river of darkness beneath the neon light” 🌃🌙
