If y'all didn't know or were confused, this was the song that started the book fandom latched onto wayyyyy back in the day as what they wanted Bella's Lullaby to sound like. This was literally Spring 2008, before Breaking Dawn the book was even released and waaaay before anything from the movies were released. Just how the world worked then, as book fandoms in general were really condensed and hidden away.

makes sense now, I was wondering why on earth did I always think this was a twilight song

For everyone saying that this is the same piece as Bella's Lullaby, argue all you want but it IS NOT. This is an entirely different piece, and I don't know how people connect it to Twilight because it was 100% not in the film. I know this because I have seen the movie a few billion times. This piece is wonderful, but not in any of the Twilight films. The piano score for the film was written FOR THE FILM, this is an entirely different piano piece from somewhere else in the world. It has nothing to do with twilight.

I do not see why people hate Twilight. Look at it as a comedy. That way it is pretty enjoyable. It is like the best comedy ever.

I love twilight so much. Everyone's hating on it now and it makes me so sad! Stephanie Meyer is so amazing! Her books are incredible. All I want is a relationship like Bella and Edward. I agree; the movies are terrible. But the movies I made in my head are perfection💞 To all you twilight lovers; I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! (Oh and btw team Edward)

+Erin Smith I absolutely agree. I reread the books all the time. My bf got me the 10th anniversary collaboration book with life and death and Twilight. Life and Death was ok but was basically Twilight just with different gender roles but same story. It was ok though. I am anxiously waiting for Midnight Sun. Also I would love more on the Volturi and Jacob and Renesmae. I didn't mind the films although they didn't really capture the essence of the books though. I do love the soundtrack though, especially Muse and the piano scores.

I for one love how the music in each movie fits the mood and emotions that the character are going through, this remarkable woman made a series that people around the world enjoy and all she asks for is praise for her work.. I don't nor will I ever understand the constant hate it receives. I am a guy and I can safely say I loved the Twilight series with a passion, each and every aspect of it. I will continue to support Stephanie Meyers in her future work and will always be a supportive fan of hers.

This song makes me sad. It is so beautiful. It makes me think, although I'm a kid, that my life is going on and it will never stop. I will someday be 80. And I won't have the life like I do now. Each day I get older and my life is passing each day in front of my eyes. And there is nothing I can do to stop it.

Ok this is like calming but it makes my stomach turn the music makes my whole past flash before me but makes me feel calm yet depressed even though I am. Anyone else feel the same thing?

Anyone can play piano if you stick to it! I taught myself at twelve because I was obsessed with the song skyfall, it's a pretty easy instrument but still amazing once you get the bases of it! Of course you can play the piano! All you need is some determination and a musical heart ;)

After a month of hard work, I managed to play this! I play my own version of it (since some stuff my keyboard isn't capable of) but this music still gives me tingles all over my body! AMAZING! If you want a tutorial, just like my comment :)

The Twilight soundtracks are stunning. Beautiful music like I have never seen put together for each movie and getting better each time.

I'm not a huge fan of the Twilight saga, and I only discovered this last night. But I absolutely adore this, it's my new favourite song :P

I am in love with this song. It makes me want to get up and dance.

Yes this isn't the twilight movie lullaby soundtrack but when reading the book this is what the lullaby feels. This is what we readers picture and feel when that part of the chapter plays out in our minds...its nsync soo beautifully. For us readers this is the lullaby. I appreciate the movie version ofcourse but this...ellevates that part soo high

My bridesmaids and I walked up the aisle to this song at my wedding in June of 2011. The best man played it on the piano ... Not a dry eye in the house. Now it is forever engrained in my soul. I lay here pregnant with our first child and hoping her tiny ears can hear this as her first sounds. Thank you Lord for all of your wonderful gifts.

its not in the movie but the author of the books said that this is what she had imagined as Bella's Lullaby written by Edward. so the song that was composed by Carter Burwell, was inspired by this piece (the one that is in the movie) and the actual scene itself was inspired by this piece as well.
