So if you like at the genetics article they game creator made, it’s based on recessive and nonressesive genes. So a white and a white can make a black if both have black as recessive, or if even one has recessive black. You can pull it up on google if you type in Rival Stars genetics breeding guide. Plus, in real world, a horse with almost any two white gene copies dies before birth. So breeding a white to a white to get a white normally would end up with a dead horse. The graying gene that makes a horse “look” white is different.

It’s possible irl, so let’s say that the parents are Gg x Gg (grey) so there is a *25%* chance of the horse being GG (grey) *50%* chance of the horse being Gg like the parents and or *25%* of being gg (non-grey) so I’m assuming that’s what happened and the foal got gg. And perhaps one of the parents carried a copy of the black allele. So it makes complete sense.

I can’t get pass tier 7 my last goal is horsepower I need help it says bread horse or buy a grade 4 higher horse I’ve breeded

So that might been what happened

yes, I think so.. but the base color is black, and when I bred them, there was no coat and genes information yet in the game. The parents didn't have any dilution I think, but the father has pattern or head marking
