Rival Sons has revived my faith in bands. As an "OLD" guy this is refreshing! Thanks foe your talent and HONESTY in your art.

I used to listen to the original over and over again when I was young. This has been my new favorite band for some time now. Discovering this combination has made me SO happy!

Exactly what I was thinking! It was my favorite song as a 5-6-year old and now this is my absolute favorite band. So much passion and soul!

I have never been able to tolerate ccr covers, and this was the song I chose to be played at my dad's funeral. it randomly played on a Spotify radio station, and it was so perfect I almost cried. I've been into Rival Sons for about a month and finding this, I know exactly why I was immediately drawn to them.

I played Ted Hawkins' version at least 20 times the day my Dad passed. I still tear up when I hear it.

Jesus!!! Rival Sons cannot do any wrong! They just keep delighting and surprising covering the best classic songs like this CCR one and making it Pop! Breathing new life into it, no NO OTHER band could.....

This song was dedicated to my younger brother when he passed away. It's was the original version but rival sons did it justice.

How can you like classic rock and completely discredit them. Creedence is legendary, and no cover is better than the original because it's the original

zinnyzxx I didn't discredit them, its my opinion that this cover is better.. by far. I personally can't stand the sound of John Fogerty. If you love swamp-boogie-folk-rock, good for you. Just curious, how many of CCR albums have you bought on itunes... zero?

Wouldn't say "no cover is [ever] better than the original (Van Halen's "Really Got Me" being A fairly obvious example, and I can think of MANY others - of course, it's ultimately just taste)," but it'd be SO hard to top anything Creedence. And if the Sons can't do it, doubt anyone could. That said, they're both perfect, but I just love the original too much. Anyway, glad I could clear nothing up.
