I knew the album would be good. I didn't expect it to be THIS good. Every track is amazing. Jay's voice is unreal, it's like it's gotten stronger and louder.

I thought I was the only one who thought it had some "Echoes" I hear more of "Dogs" off of Animals by Pink Floyd.

They took a lot of inspiration from echoes, and no doubt Pink Floyd is much much better than Rival sons

Some of the last rock in roll... It's so good, I have been a fan of this band since the first album and I am only 16, so yes there are teens that have good taste in music ;) but keep up the good work guys. And one more thing people don't give enough credit to the drummer, he is fricken fantastic! Well I mean you guys are all fantastic, and great choice on the new basis you fit in really good with band, hope I get to see you guys live someday, great album so good job you Deserve an A+

Yeah, each one of these guys seems to be among the best at what they do. The fact that they're all together in one band is very lucky for everyone.

You forgot Supertramp, Queen, Scorpions and a few others even if they are sometimes only very brief, but so distinctive it can't be an accident.

but some parts of this excellent track are just copy/past of track of Pink Floyd (Echoes), and their "music Spirit" come from Led Zep (Since I've Been Loving You), and Deep Purple (Burn and Child in time), and Pink Floyd (Atom Heart Mother) ...

Pink Floyd, is that all you hear in it? I found ZZ Top, Supertramp, Queen, Scorpions, in fact I'm pretty sure that was their intention, to mix together sounds of all sorts of classics.

The Sex made in music.

I saw them with Black Sabbath on The End tour. I purposely avoided listening to any of their music, beforehand. I wanted to be surprised. I wasn't that impressed by them, but I'm not sure why. Maybe it was because I hadn't seen Sabbath since the 70s and it was their last tour (they said) and we had hood seats on the floor, near the mixing booth. I was pretty pumped to see Sabbath. I felt like Rival Sons deserved more praise from me, but for some reasons, they just didn't do it for me. I barely remember seeing them. Edit: I think I figured it out, while I was writing this. I remember that Sabbath was incredibly loud and crystal clear on every instrument and I remember telling my buddy that, we scored by getting seats so close the sound board, because everything sounded perfect. The more I think back, the more I remember Rival Sons, sounding pretty tinny and flat and one dimensional The lead guitarist and vocals were pretty hard to hear and there wasn't enough bass. There were no dynamics to there sound. It was like listening someone's cell phone at party, through a pair of cheap computer speaker. It sounded like background music. I'm guessing that each band and brings their own sound guy. There was a different team in the booth for Sabbath. I think maybe it was just has a bad sound mix, because I remember thinking they were pretty good musicians, but they didn't sound very impressive. I'm going to leave my original thoughts up here, just in case some aspiring musician reads this. When you play live, you need a good sound mix, otherwise, no one will even remember you. Fans shouldn't have to think, "We're they good? I don't remember hearing one song". You can play great, but if your band sounds like a muddy, blaring mess, coming out of a tin can, people are going go to the concession stand, while your background music just bounces off the walls of the arena.

Arguably (not really) their BEST album!

Racer is exactly right. It's a cross sort of between Floyd's Echoes and Zep's Whole Lotta Love. I don't mind it at all, but there are times when they are just a little TOO obvious about their musical thefts.

I am fan of Rival Sons, and I really like TGWV album, but this last song is kind of a lame filler. The main theme is remakably similar to the Star Wars "Love Theme Anakin/Amidala".
