I have to admit, when Guillotine was released, I stopped paying attention to the Sons for the first time in 10 years. However, after listening to Darkfighter from front to back this weekend, it's right up there with Feral Roots. Fantastic album!

Sorry it took so long. We saw them the next night in Little Rock, and I asked the band for permission to post this seeing it was another 3 weeks before the album released. They gave me their blessings to post. Then Scott sorta changes his mind and says… “nah, don’t post it. They weren’t there, that’s their loss” So it was all posted as individual songs with unlisted links so it couldn’t be searched. You had to have the link. We buried the link to each song in posts in the Rival Sons app, TikTok, and the IG fans page. That was until the band had played each song more than once. When I finally saw they played Mirrors again is when I switched the videos to public. Plus it was release week anyways. It was so amazing getting to see this full album live. I’m hoping they play the full thing again now that the album has released.

Just bought the latest Rival Sons CD today in Cleveland. Just like I've bought all the other Rival Sons CDs so far. The best rock and roll band on the planet. But one question, guys? Why is the new album so short? Only 8 songs and it's over before you know it. I'll keep buying everything but the more the merrier. Load up those CDs with more tunes next time.

It is because there is a sister album by the name of Lightbringer being released later this year. So you get 2 amazing Rival Sons albums in a year.
