Rival Palestinian Groups Fatah and Hamas Meet in China | Vantage with Palki Sharma
China has said that rival Palestinian groups Hamas and Fatah met in Beijing recently for "in-depth and candid talks on promoting intra-Palestinian reconciliation". Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in 2007 after fighting with its rivals in Fatah, which maintains partial administrative control in the Israeli-occupied West Bank through the Palestinian Authority. China has historically been sympathetic to the Palestinian cause and supportive of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Does that meeting mean it can broker peace in Palestine? You are Misleading !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1960s China has Recognised the PLO and have given military support particularly Palestinian communist/socialist parties. But China has never recognized or supported a Palestinian Islamist movement. Hamas was born 1987.

Once the CCP won the civil war, they continued those claims and The defeated nationalist party fled to Taiwan bringing a lot of historical evidence about the 9 dash lines at SCS.
