There are some boats that don’t really need an introduction and the Riva Dolceriva is one of them.
We couldn’t resist a full walkthrough tour and review at the Düsseldorf Boat Show of one of the best-looking and most evocative 50ft sportscruisers on the water. If you can draw your eyes away from the irresistible woodwork and twinkling stainless steel you’ll notice that there is a lot more to the Dolecriva than drop dead gorgeous looks.
The cockpit is a day boating paradise thanks to its transom-mounted drop-down sunloungers and the spacious cockpit with a dinette that spreads across the full beam of the cockpit.
Below decks, there is a double owner’s cabin forward and a twin amidships plus a decent galley that is subtly hidden under a counter when not in use.
Engine options are both Volvo Penta D13 with either 900hp or 1,000hp per side running on traditional shaft drives. The ultimate day boat? Quite possibility.

I will have to say, Absolutely Beautiful! No Jack not you this time! Perfect for lazing in the sun off the Mediterranean!
What a gorgeous boat. Expensive as hell but absolutely beautiful lines and quality workmanship.
If I had the money I would have had this boat shipped over here(USA)already. Absolutely the most beautiful boat I've ever seen. Kudos to RIVA for its extraordinarily close attention to beauty and detail!!. Thereis one thing I would want; more power. I think Mercury Racing 1350/1550 gasoline engines would be perfect for this big boat. Use the 1550 setting to jump on plane then use the 1350 setting for cruising at 50-60mph. AND NO V DRIVE SHAFTS. MERCURY ENGINES ONLY.
Would love to see back 2 back on water comparisons to similarly priced competitors.. a real shoot out of sorts that makes the difference in reviews, love the work keep it up!
Now THAT is a Beautiful Boat!

Absolutely beautiful, I can't believe I didn't guess this one from the oil painting you showed of it🤷. There's a company that sells ready made model Riva, just under a metre long, couple grand though but gorgeous. Cheers 👍❤️🇬🇧
Beautiful boat. I would choose the sunseeker predator 55 or superhawk 55 over it though for practicality and features. I just think those boats can't be beat for the price. Riva makes a beautiful boat but I see it being to much of a compromise. Its like saying look at me but it really can't do much but look pretty. Just my opinion. Love your tours Jack.
