Great review, did you happen to get a price for the catamaran rides?

Regarding the food, does this RIU resort require you to eat lunch at the dine-in buffet restaurants? This is what we experienced at the RIU in Aruba, and would have preferred the option of having a separate grill adjacent to the pool for burgers, dogs, chicken, etc. This is what the RIU in Cabo had, which allowed guests to eat at their chairs at either the pool or beach. Also, do they have drink service at the beach?

great review!!, how much was the taxi from resort to Sayulita and back? we are in Sayulita prior to heading to Riu Pacifco and are looking for the best transfer. currently our Sayulita hotel is offering 72 usd for one way. seems high!

We paid about 100 US total return, BUT there was 6 of us, 2 or 3 should be much cheaper. Taxi's are basically one way thanks to the "Taxi Mafia" which prohibits them from driving you back. There are work-arounds but we couldn't be bothered. Pain in the a#$.

Hi, excellent video. Do you know if the rooms with two double beds have room between them like two separate beds or is it like on large bed with room for 4? We have 2 adults and 2 kids and can't figure that out.

Yes, there is a separator between them. Not sure if the beds are big enough for 2 kids as well. Couch? Sorry I can't be more help.

What is you highest rating ever? I go to riu palace Pacifico almost every 6 months, but since it will be closed for the facelift, we’ll need to find something similar, what are my options?

HI! We are two young adults looking to stay here at the beginning of March. We are wanting a fun, lively resort perhaps with some nightlife in the evenings. Is this the right place, or is it more of a relaxed atmosphere?

we are same - and we chose this one because it maybe a little more relaxing when we want that - with this resort you have access to the other two Jalisco (Night club) and Vallarta which are basically next door and little more crazy but not as nice. If you want both in one resort, suggest Hard Rock. but I prefer the Riu's

Definitely more relaxed, Would say this is not the place. Down the beach 15 min walk is the Riu Vallarta which is much more lively. Depending on your budget the Riu Jalisco is party central and much cheaper. You can stay at the Vallarta and go the the Jalisco whenever you want, and they are next door to each other.
