No we don’t see this enforced at all. Men wear nice shorts and flip flops/ sandals and they’re fine 👍🏻 I think they just don’t want you wearing beach wear.

I truly enjoyed the trip… The weather was perfect and the pool was jumping as well. They have a sport bars that is fun and a club.

wow, it looks pretty nice, I am looking for a place in the hotel zone for a Dental vacation stay, looking at all inclusive as I don't want to hunt for food, not sure what I will be able to eat. probably won't be drinking much either. Just going to chill on the beach or near it to recover. I have looked into this place. I own a Travel agency and their agency rates were actually the same or more than what I can get retail on my own as a regular customer :-( I will be filming the experience so what every hotel I can get will get free promos lol.

We prefer the RIU Palaces - they tend to have better restaurants and rooms

They have the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and it’s casual 👍🏻

Riu Cancun is a bit dated and more of a party resort. RP Riviera Maya is newer looking and more relaxed/low key.

It depends 🤷🏼‍♀️ the Caribe is a newer and nicer, but farther from the main Cancun strip - and the Cancun is right in the action, but is older and dated 🤷🏼‍♀️

Riu Cancun is more of a party vibe and is right in the main Cancun hotel zone, so close to all the action. Yukatan is further south and more chill.

Hello Andrew superb videos. my adult son and I going to Cancun in late Oct - Nov for 8days Need to decide between BP Akumal Riu palace and Barcelo palace Rivera maya Priory is food quality and choice and pools service is good Would appreciate your help also consider the price difference thanks

If food choice is a priority and pool service is a priority, we recommend the RIU Palace Riviera Maya. 👍🏻 the prices fluctuate so it’s hard to compare. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, can ypu share how do you commute from airport to riu cancun for a pack of 10(5 adults & 5 children)? I heard some negotiate with u but then bring you to a timeshare seminar first before taking u to your hotel, isn't that a scam?

We’ve used Canada Transfers to shuttle us from the airport (Google them and you can book it online) or if you book a vacation “package” through Expedia or TripCentral, you will have transportation included in the package price (a large coach bus will transport you to your hotel)

It’s technically a family resort, but it definitely attracts a party crowd. I wouldn’t say there’s anything geared at teenagers specifically, but I’m sure she’d have a good time 🤷🏼‍♀️

They are both kind of party resorts. If I had to choose I would say Caribe, bc it’s been newly refurbished and has nicer rooms and amenities. I would also suggest looking at Riu Palace Peninsula - a great family resort and great beach 👍🏻

I'm in Cancun now, when I went to one resort near Coco Bongo, they almost attacked me like I was going to take advantage of the resort for free.

No, we were staying at the RIU Palace Peninsula- so that gave us access to the other RIUs in the area. We asked for access to the rooms, but they didn’t seem to want the marketing 👀🤷🏼‍♀️

Doesn't seem the best for young kids. Like where's the splash pad?
