Amazement is an infantile state of being which is rooted in ignorance, not sure if that's something any human being should cultivate. Only kids are allowed to be deprived of knowledge, for grown ups that's a waste of oxygen. Ignorance is a bliss to those who can't carry the power of knowledge; if you could carry it, you would probably find fulfillment in the realization of the fact that you are capable of knowing the mechanism behind phenomenon's, and that's actually 'amazing'

Saw Dani’s last show at the Castle tonight (last night). There’s just nowhere to go from there. This effect is CHILD’s play for him compared to what he did Sunday night. Ondrej (Butterfly creator) was one of his assistants ... Dani made him scream-twice!! 😂 Best magic the star-studded room has ever seen, as was the buzz and utter bewilderment on the way out. Dani didn’t come from a womb-he was born in a genie bottle. Nuff said. Untouchable. Truly untouchable. And so F’IN FUNNY to boot!! ✌️

I imagine our "thinker" has a handful of them. Theres a subtle difference in the way ortiz talks to him than everyone else. What's are the odds that this guy, and Penn from the other segment, both chose 21? I don't think that's coincidence at all, not for a magician at least. Notice Dani actually prompts it at 0:53 saying, "[think of a number] very high, maybe between one and twenty one twenty"; this is called Neuro-Linguistic Programming. So, a high number out of 52 would not be 21, but a high number out of 20-- or 21, which is what he Actually said-- would most likely produce the "21" he wanted. It's not absolutely necessary to make the trick work, it just makes it easier for Dani to... count the cards while he suggests each set of numbers for the packets being "shuffled". Ta-da!

@@Secret666 Yup, but he doesn't need to. He just needs to know the number. There's a move after that. Don't get me wrong, I still haven't worked it out fully - there's too much happening and a couple of small things I'm missing. @@Secret666 Right. The fact that he doesn't touch the cards once the ritual starts tells us a lot of information: it tells us that the card is unimportant. It's the position of the card that matters, which he manipulates into the right spot with one move and a lot of mental acrobatics. The card is not important: the number chosen by the spectator is important. And he does touch cards once that number has been declared.

@@monodescarado I appreciate you trying to guide me to seeing the method but I'm finding it very hard to get past the fact that he manipulates the position of the card before knowing the card it self. The card was never physically chosen and never disclosed before the 21st card was about to be dealt. I'm starting to think he may actually be using REAL magic! lol

I don’t believe in magic but this trick is just ridiculous. The card is named and number called long after he has touched the cards.

Why they always chose 21? (Iden at Penn and Teller)

Because brains are sheep's without imagination, once he says "high" and "20" that's what most will pick. But not all... so either that's not a part of the trick or there's another version if they do.

Ya ví este truco en 3 oportunidades y en todas siempre eligen el número 21, hasta en Penn and Teller Fool Us fue así.

Interesting that the number used here is also 21, just like it was in Fool Us. HMMM

I would totally screw up the trick. When I hear "pick a big number" I'm definitely not picking something betwen 18-25. I would intuitively go for a few hundreds at least.
