I have been fortunately to have had her at my house in Slough/Langley UK performed with Ustad Ghulam Sarwar on Tabla long time back. She is truly blessed by Goddess Saraswathi. Regards to her.

The lyrics of thumri borrowed its language from the braj bhasa- the dialect of Mathura region and that is mainly used by the hindus. There are influences of some other regions of the Uttar Pradesh.

Hindustani classical music compositions are mainly in bhojpuri. both bazu and baju are correct. like zaroorat and jaroorat, ilzam and iljaam, zindagi and jindagi....... the singer's gaayaki is important and the lady is a very accomplished singer...:) that is most important

Great , all you lovers of singing are so calm& elert, thats why you concentrait to each word that Vocalist is pronencing . It is BAJUBAND an ornament of gold specially used in Rajputs ladies . In other casts also weared an ornament in upper part of elbove -Hand is in different shape & desighn name is differ as geographical

Beautiful song.....this is the beuti of Classical Music that singers can perform the words in numerous forms and yet the pleasure of listening to it increase every time....these are old classics of sub continent and not restricted by any language you cant say it Urdu nor Hindi.....it is native language of Music in classical world.....very nice music and she is singing by command.

@moidulhassan1 I am sure that this lady knows pronunciation much better than you know music or poetry. For if you did, you would know that both music and poetry use dialect and vernacular for effect. Vocalists are typically the most adept at the art of enunciation and pronunciation. Also if you knew music, you will not confuse popular singing in the cinema with a far more strucuterd art of classical music.
