I want to come on here and let everyone know that even though I could see in front of me when I played with more road and crossed lines, it's still VERY VERY dumb and doesn't matter if I could see / nobody was coming. Accidents can happen and sadly, if a 2 wheel buddy were in that lane also screaming it could be very bad. Don't follow my example in this video. It was my first time doing this and I now know, no matter what stay in the lane even if it is clear. 100% NOTED and if you plan to drive Tail of Dragon, take my mistake as a learning experience and just stay in the lane. Sorry for the dumb decisions fam. Glad everything worked out and when I come back next time, I can do it CORRECTLY 🙏

You really need to drive the "Back of the Dragon" in Tazewell, Va. As they say, 11 is nice, try 32. 32 miles, 438 curves, 3500 ft elevation change. Beautiful ride.

You definitely need to hit up the Mach 1 Track Attack at Charlotte if you haven't already.

The Foothills Parkway is a great lead into the Dragon. Biggest thing with all of the spirited driving is staying in your lane. You definitely don’t want to find the on coming traffic head on. Been there many times and will be there at the end of April with a club from central Florida. Another great road is the Cherohala Skyway. It’s a lot like the Foothills Parkway in that it’s full of longer smoother curves and longer straightaways and some really good views!

My wife and I did The Tail in our TI Sport AWD in 2017. That car was awesome on the small roads because Alfa really builds their cars for Italian roads that are smaller and have lots of different types. We did it during the week when it was wet and cold and actually had the whole place to ourselves. Which was unusual for the road. We sold the Alfa after about six months after that but still have the memories of The Tail!!!

Looks like a freaking blast! Hope Romina is ok! Glad you where finally able to experience it. And Jake and Jordan where good as well. Awesome Mountain View!!

Looked like a very nice trip. Poor Romina being the passenger is rough. You really tach out that Mach running 2 and 3rd gear ! You could tell even on the video how sharp the turns are by how far you had to crank the wheel. Great outing for your guys !

This a badass lol props to you for handling that Mach like a boss man being a Georgian that has been on the trail of the dragon at very high speeds I can verify that the trail of the dragon plays no games and shows no mercy!

I just know Romina probably left a dent on the floor from “braking” or a dent on the door panel she was grabbing onto, huge respect for keeping her and the car safe, (I wouldve probably sent the car off the mountain)

I kept a lookout for the mach during all the meets but never saw you anywhere, I saw the dark horse just about everywhere I went tho lol

I’ve been fortunate enough…to grow up, driving a lot of fun back roads in the North Carolina mountains. I’ve never made it to the Tail of the 🐉 yet, man that was a sweet drive!!!🙌🐎

This is awesome! I need to go! Also there's a place here in va between marion and Tazewell (about 4 hrs from us) called thr back of the dragon its 438 curves over 32 miles may want to give that a go one of these days.

My HPP with 369 HP and 377 torque. I can keep up with these guys. No weight on the nose and high performance suspension. However when the straight comes they would kill me. Big HP in these cars are awesome.

if you like the views you should try Skyline drive at Shenandoah. Incredible scenery, and they have a tunnel at somepoint of the drive, really fun. Great video, enjoyed watching the gang rolling through the mountain ⛰️🤙🏼

Highly recommend getting a set of Midland or Baofeng radios for those areas in the mountains with no cell service.

I grew up ripping my 03 Mach then eventually my 14GT thru the mountains of West Virginia. There’s a mountain that takes about 40 mins to go all the way up and back down the other side, some of the best driving in the world lies in the Appalachian mountains
