Today DXY strengthed and now GBP/USD pulled back... Why is this? DXY has gone to risk off now?

Risk on Risk off is not necessarily to follow the rules all the times. Also GBPUSD rising can also be due to some negative impact on GBP. Best is to track strong and weak currency and match it with risk on risk off. Example if S&P is rising and AUD is really strong then your best bet is Long AuDJPy
