Rishi Sunak Names New Top Team As David Cameron And Richard Holden Resign
Former prime minister Lord Cameron does not feature in the interim shadow cabinet, the Conservative Party has confirmed.
Suffering a net loss of 251 MPs in last week’s General Election, the Tories have named their opposition frontbench who will lead them into the new Parliament.
The party confirmed in a statement that Lord Cameron, who was foreign secretary in the outgoing government, and party chairman Richard Holden had offered their resignations, and Rishi Sunak had accepted.

Cameron is a disgrace! Should never have been brought back in the first place. He showed he had no balls and wasn’t up for the fight after losing the Brexit vote. When the going gets tough, Cameron gets going, normally back to easy street. Hopefully his political career is finished.

But to guarantee it, I fear we may need to acquire a small figurine with a surprising resemblance to the man and ask a priest from a culturally enriching country to 'bless' the figure so that dropping or other action against said figure results in reciprocal behaviour on his Lordship? (The things you do to avoid the secret police these days ....)

He wil still be in the house of Lords making those ever important decisions for the labour party if a new law is passed or new legislation. he wont be stopping any ideas of rejoining the EU will he?
Of cause Cameron resigned, he was crap at the job and he got what he wanted to have the title of Lord, on he certainly does not deserve or earned,

Bringing back Cameron as Foreign Secretary was a stroke of genius by Sunak. Who better than an ex PM, already known on the world stage. Hunt calmed the financial markets from going into meltdown after the Truss mini budget, so for Sunak to keep him was a no brainer.

I will be the 1st to say don't underestimate your adversary but are you sure you're not giving Dodgy Dave too much credit? Dave takes orders, he can't plan his way out of a paper bag, but the Blair Institute providing recommendations though? I base my assumption of Dave on the fact no self respecting Multinational company had the stupidity to employ him. He's been a lobbyist all this time afaik? Blair became a shadowy multinational and Clegg works for Facebook, but no-one wanted May, Truss or Boris either - that shows you their competence imo.

Sunak appointing Cameron as Foreign Secretary by all the shenanigans of making him a peer was the final nail in the coffin as far as I was concerned about voting Tory. It was a disgraceful action and proved the Tory party had moved even further left. That was the day they lost my vote. Glad he has gone. Let's hope it is permanent.
