I do feel for Sunak. He inherited a mess from Boris and Truss, a poisoned challice. The odds were stacked well against him from the get go. But he did his job with integrity and honesty and still managed to stablise the economy under very challenging circumstances. People expect miracles from a prime minister. He can't magically take away all the problems that have built up over the years. Good luck with Starmer and watch how him and his party struggle. People will be calling for Rishi like they did when Truss crashed the country.

The only plan Rishi made: keeping his wife on stand-by with an umbrella

What is truly shocking, and i haven’t heard anyone state this yet, is the level of the landslide in comparison to the percentage of votes Labour received. A 34% share of the vote is just barely average, and had reform not challenged the election, the results may well have been a hung parliament.

Talk is cheap. Pity it was not exhibited when in the position of power.
