We went to this a few months ago and loved it as Hell's Kitchen residents for many years and theme park junkies for all our lives (hence Soarin' holds a close spot in our hearts - so to have our own Soarin' in NYC made us so excited and proud!). I can't wait to go back when we have friends visiting from out of town! (I kinda wish they got the Coney Island Cyclone in there but I don't wanna nitpick lol!)

How did I miss this? Fun!

I grew up in Manhattan and worked at a place called THE NEW YORK EXPERIENCE. That was back in the 1970s. It was on 6th Avenue and was a tourist spot highlighting the history of NYC. This video certainly is a way better experience. Just watching the video is cool.

I went to the NY Experience just before it closed in 1986, its literally one of my first memories of my life and left a very strong impression on my life!

It is a amazing experience

Thanks so much for posting this. Definitely want to go now. Question, they have a disclaimer mentioning strobe lights loud sounds and scents. Wondering what the scents are, and did you find the sounds, etc, could be a concern for kids or older adults?

Yes it’s perfectly fine, after 11pm it gets a little sketchy.

I want to know if this is an actual ride or do you just seat on the chair in front of a big TV ?! I want to do this but I do not want to be in a ride that is going to be moving like the one that six flags! Please provide clarification

Yes you have to be fully vaccinated with proof and wear a mask at all times.

I went here when I was 6th grade and my class we're screaming bur me, I was enjoining it

I love my city….

Left NY in 1994, lived there since 1981. Was there last in 2016. I just wished I was there during the days of Rudy Giuliani. I had to endure, David Dinkins.

@@dutchmazz I climbed it also, and I want to do it again, I hate the fact that it’s closed. It may not be permanent, but there’s no new news about implementing some safety, netting or siding, over a year ago, I read an article, that they were testing some sort of safety netting but there’s been no updates on that for over a year.

My Oculus quest 2 is way better to watch
