If I didn’t know better, I’d swear that Ghost was just released and Rise was the older game 😅

Not gonna lie Rise of Ronin looks like Assassin's Creed 2 with same quality of animation and enhanced graphics. Even the horse animation is same as AC 2's horse riding.

Ghost of Tsushima (GOT) is Superior in Graphics and Animations Without a Doubt. it is STUNNING!! Rise of the Ronin (RotR) is Far Better Than GOT in Customization, Weapons variety, Fighting Styles and Combat System. I love Both of Them.

Both are good… but props and shoutouts to the Sound Team and Voice Actors at GoT… the Sound EFX really immerses you into the game… especially with Headphones on 🎧 …without the Sounds the Experience would be different… also the fact that you can change the language that Gyozen Narrates in is well thought out… GoT is a Masterpiece!

I'm a huge Ghost of Tsushima fan, it was my favorite game of the last 5 years, but I'm also loving Rise of the Ronin and having just as much fun. It feels like if Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro had a love child. It really does have elements from both games. Though Ghost is more beautiful to look at Ronin has better character designs and models. Look at the gameplay and you see just how squared and blocky the characters look. Especially with the fabrics of clothing.

I wonder how many ppl actually have both games with all this comparing. ROTR is a good game. If you want GOT so bad go replay it.

The physics of the game and characters is really important. That's why Rockstar games are always good .

Whoever played both game will agree that Rise of the Ronin has 10 times more content when it come to the variety of combat.

Yeah... so GOT is a real AAA game, ROTR is a B tier game on a AAA price.

Both got it's own charm. Rise of the Ronin gave it all on flashy combat gameplay where they are known for.. Ghost of Tsushima is also focused on combat as well, i might be wrong but they also divide some parts for the graphics etc.. Maybe i am wrong. Maybe it's just game engine differences. What do you think? I want to play Rise of the Ronin as well.

@TrippinExtacy well, I've learned after grinding a little bit, it gets much better. I love the world, the atmosphere, and the characters of RotR, I'm glad I bought it on release. I usually wait for games to go on sale.

Idk why people are so negative about the graphics of the game. Team Ninja have never been huge on graphics, it’s more about the art style. Look at Wo Long. Look at Nioh. None have really “realistic” graphics. It’s just Team Ninja’s design.

Ghost is a straight masterpiece in all aspects from the environments to the combat. Recently got Ronin and it’s no where near ghost, but it is very good in its own right. Definitely enjoying it so far. Again though in regards to samurai games nothing compares to ghost! Take notes any future game devs! Can’t wait for Ghost 2!

i don't think its a fair comparison, the people that made ghost of tsushima wanted to make piece of art, these guys on the other hand, it seems like they just wanted to make a samurai game that people can just fuck around in.

you can really see which developers are lazy and devs that puts a passion on their craft

Animation for Rise of Ronin looks incredibly stiff and arcady, and overall gameplay almost look as if it belongs to a mobile game (at least better than any Tencent games).
