I have a feeling if Mehmet was Christian, he would have been way more popular today and in the history books.

In this war, Mehmet the Conqueror passed the ships over the land and landed them in the Golden Horn. It's a pity that such an amazing event is not in the trailer. ❤

Selçuk also wanted Constantinople, sahabas also wanted, Eyüp Sultan came to İstanbul, many Shahid before Muslim Turks wanted to fullfil this Hadith. But Allah chose Sultan Mohammed al-Fatih. I'm not the American series, they give the air of an Empire like Roman, with some arrogance, and it was khilafa, they where servers not en Empire or kings. But still nice video and edition.

21 years old speaks 7 languages. Apart from Turkish, he spoke Greek, Arabic, Latin, Persian, Hebrew, Greek and Serbian as well as his mother tongue. He knows the Quran by heart. He has enough knowledge to explain the Bible and Torah books in detail. Military genius, engineer, strategist and politician. He is one of the greatest poets of his time. Historians agree that he was one of the rare people who had knowledge of east and west. During his thirty-year reign, he destroyed two empires, four kingdoms, and eleven principalities. Before he dies, he leaves very important laws to the future emperors for the state to continue in security and prosperity. He fell ill and died on his way to Italy. Bells were rung and victory ceremonies were held in Europe for a week. They announced his death as 'The Great Eagle is Dead'."

My ancestors immigrated to southern Italy as a result of this, and even my family name descends from Byzantium - it's weird to watch this and know that, while tragic to me, the Byzantines had earned their destruction after centuries of infighting and civil strife - Manzikert, for example, was lost because the Emperor was abandoned by his officers when he needed them most; such treachery always has consequences.

In the East, we already have cannons from the 12th century, but their destructive power is still very small compared to this cannon. It is truly a Turkish masterpiece
