This is likely the band at their peak. Siren Song of the Counter Culture packs a sonic wallop like no other album of theirs (or many albums, for that matter) and they pushed themselves when it came to songwriting which was the key element when all's said and done. I wouldn't be surprised if my old teacher who produced the album, Garth Richardson, was a big driving force in them having a wiser perspective on songwriting.
