Tom, have you all seen an increase in productivity in your cows since building the new barn and doing these things for them. I think a video about that side of things would be interesting
Tom, the twin rotored Army thing is called a Boeing CH47 Chinook operated by the RAF, at RAF Odiham.
Never seen your Dad so excited, like a little boy with a new toy. Good to see it all coming together and what a great video overflowing with content.

Tom use those old tile pipes as flower planters around your shop. Place female end up and fill with potting soil. They will look amazing and add color.

Robert, my thoughts too! Bet Mom would love the extra flowers. Suggest an inexpensive tube watering system though as it gets tiring to self water, but the farm does get a lot of rain. Besides, the Ging can always reclaim them if he needs them! Tom you are doing an amazing clean up! It will look amazing!

Is it a rainwater catchment tank, be handy area for one, and a wee lean to for the power washer and you could have a wash bay for the machinery set up and ready 24/7.

Visited the farm shop yesterday! I was the weirdo grinning who said hello. With the increase in electricity prices is it worth thinking about some solar to run the farm with the roofing space you should bring in a ton of power.
@BethSc_VV

solar power would be easy enough to power the bubbler and shed lights at a minimum. The only drawback is the setup costs

@@BethSc_VV the setup cost is high but with there being no price cap on business power cost unlike residential properties making monthly costs increase by the thousands the initial setup cost might become viable very soon

@@meghainn2010 it was FITs payments ,the trouble was @ its inception it was 44p per kwh but @ the time a 4kw system was like £15k, when i got mine a couple of years later the rate had reduced to 16p per kwh, all FIT rates are still subject to the annual CPI increase, when FITs finished it was something like 5p per kwh but the cost had dropped to somewhere near £5k, the new SEG (smart export gurantee) are not index linked and the rates are set by the individual electric companys, whereas FITs were set by the Goverment and the Electric Companies had to pay you that rate for 20 years, glad i got into FITs,shame i didnt get in earlier ,as early adopters are now getting 60p per kwh

a spring tine grubber usauly used after harvest
In German this thing is called 'Federzinkengrubber' so I think Spring Grubber ist very close. Very interesting project once again. It's amazing to see how the farm is evolving.

OMG..... You found my old Ransoms Cultivator 🤣 Very similar to what we had in the late 60's. Watching you and your dad brings back lots of great memories. You both have great ethics, keep up the great work, love to you all.
Get a biomass dome for that slurry tank, Gas generator to run the bubblers for free. 🧐🧐
Your Dad can’t sit still very long except when he eats . He so excited to get this started and build and all done make it look really nice and improve the farm better.Tom can’t wait until it’s all done and see the whole farm finish it’s going to improve the farm No more mud driving around the slurry tank to get to the other barn .
This project is great, what a change. Everything will be more efficient and easier to handle and get to. Congratulations on you and your dad’s choices. Thank you for taking us along, looking forward to the finished phase.

Good morning Tom, in the states that plow would be called a chisel plow
Love watching you improving your farm. Ginger guy is happy, cows are happy 😊 it's all good.
As always can't wait to see what your doing today on the farm 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Tom, you are an example of a progressive farmer taking ‘little’ steps improving big time! You’re time and work management is immaculate with an amazing team behind you.
G'day Tom. I would say they look like, spring tynes. Another great video mate. Cheers from Aus.
Dang it! I love to see the progress...but now I want it all!!! I'm impatient. Seeing it all finished is going to he great.
That’s an old spring cultivator Tom, we have one at work but just a bit bigger
That's gotta feel great having some leftover supplies from the last concrete job especially considering you had to go over budget on this one.
Your Dad looks so happy…..😀
I absolutely love these development videos Tom. Awesome to see the farm grow and improve! 😊
Holy smoke...massive investment in the barn, I guess this project is costing a bob or two. Financed by 130 cattle? Still great to see the farm advancing, getting tidy. Can’t wait to see the cafe project👍👏
Had the pleasure of meeting your father and Heidi last week. Unfortunately you weren't back until Sunday, and I didn't have time to pop back. But what a fantastic team you have! Everyone was super friendly, and even when your father was busy dealing with banking, he stopped to say hi! He mentioned there was secret projects ongoing, and I guess this was well underway before you went to Ireland. Look forward to seeing what other developments are in the pipeline. Keep up the great work, maybe I'll get to meet you next time! 👍

Really enjoyed watching that video as it’s showing the ups and downs when wanting to make improvements and how you need to adapt to make things work, hope your lovely mum and dad have a great holiday abroad, and have a great weekend Tom 👍🏻🚜🍻
It's called a Graham plow in Canada.
Tidy farm, tidy mind! So happy for you Tom to yet again be improving the farm for everyone’s future!
You were right Tom to have more room around your slurry tank, machinery is getting bigger so space is a necessity, and you can always extend the muck pit another bay. 👌🏻👍🏻
Great Friday video thank you so much To end my week right. Be well be you
Looking forward to part 2
Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. 👍
Good morning Tom! Do it properly once for sure! Also, shortening the muck pile area satisfied some odd ocd so now it ends at the same bay on each end of the building 😆

Good stuff Tom 👍🏻
Love to see this the vision of an easier winter was on the agenda for this project. Definitely an expense but improvements to bring the farm into a better state is always the aim. Can't wait to see this finished
Another fantastic watch! I will definitely pop over to the farm shop with my grandchildren soon 😀
The jackhammer on the mini excavator makes short work and the concrete saw too it is a spring tooth chisel plow 3point mounted
Can't wait to see the finished product, you've got some cracking neighbours 👍
Tom, the "twin bladed" helicopter would likely be a chinook
Channel from the new shed was the right way to go for sure, you would have regretted it if it wasn't done now and had issues with down the line in future. Great video and great improvements for the farm 👍🏻
You've made a lot of cleanliness improvements over the past few months. Also, removing a lot of junk has made the place look a lot neater.
The random old cultivator would probably fall within the category of a “tool bar” which could be fitted with all kinds of different legs at different spacings for row crop work and/or general cultivating, yours looks to be fitted with 1” square “pig tail” tines which are generally incredibly strong and work very well at breaking down lumpy ploughing etc 😀👍🏼
It is a spring tine grubber
Interesting project, definitely make life easier for you. The tank really intrigues me what you have buried it for. The implement that you moved not knowing what is was, I think is called a spring tine for breaking up soil for planting.
Tom, you are the hardest working farmer ever. And, you are always upbeat and positive.
I love how you are investing into your Farm and your self . So many You Tuber's are so Self Centered and don't invest in their future but spend their gains frivolously. Keep up the great work

Gonna be visiting the farm shop on Sunday on the way up to the lakes! Cracking work on the videos, great to see another project coming together, lovely escape for an office working, wannabe farmer!
Tom, you & your father are seeming to be so happy about all the new work going on on your farm. I'm so happy for you both.
I was like.... theres no way they are gonna put molasses in to that tank underground.... I know what its for now though... be a great help, and good location too.
You hear the story of 2 Farmers/ Father & Son, who decided to clean up & move unused gates, fences, wood, coils of wire etc and Dad said we "should move it over there", Son said "but we move it from over there to here", yes said dad "and the previous year we moved it from over there to here". Son said " is there anything we should dump", dad said " don't you dare". Love it when Farmers spend summer months tidying up.
Y’all are just smashin it. Now you’ve got my interest up about this “secret” project. This is going to make such a difference when it’s done. 👍👍
Sooooo pleased to see such great planning and work going into bettering the cow areas. I love the cleaning up and new ideas. Congratulations. What a difference in the farm over the years since Tom began his videos. I’m looking forward to a new milking parlour?? Icing on the cake eh? Friends from Canada 👋🏻
Man honestly you have done a great job. And your still moving forward with making your family farm better. I know that when the time comes Ginger man with the mooostache decides to retire you will have the Farm well taken care of. Watching all the way in Danville Kentucky.
You are at the right stage to make changes. Get it right first time, so later there are no regrets. Cracking team they are really motivated, and into what you are thinking.

I never understand what the heck you are doing until it's finished, but it is such fun to watch all the activity and you and your Dad working together!!! Can't wait to see the finished project and then it will all make sense!!
Great start! Looking forward to seeing the progress in future videos.
I love watching the passion you put into improving your farm you Dad also seems very happy love watching it keep going good job
Absolutely love this video Tom, great to see real progress in a short time. That concrete around the slurry tank etc will change everything.
Great upgrades to the farm, looking forward to seeing them completed.
It’s been awhile for me…. It’s been since the completion of the new shed.. We picked right up, didn’t we.. I was rewarded with a Heidi sighting, to boot…! Hey to The Ginger Guy, and to you, Tom…
It's a Haylock pigtail cultivator
So excited for you!
I'd have pushed midding back to end of shed keeping back wall level but taking front corner/wall back equally giving the maneuvering space at front where needed
Secret project, rainwater harvesting tank? Also 🤣Tom Pemberton "top dozer driver" sat on a dumper 😆🤣😆 that channel will make a massive difference
Your family must be so proud of your accomplishments and that you are putting so, so much into the family farm! It’s awesome!!

@@TomPembertonFarmLife You well deserve the praise mate, Your efforts have helped transform the entire farm enterprise over the last two or three years, adding to what your parents had already achieved with the shop and business before your rapid rise to stardom through the inter web. Your friendly and sympathetic description of the days goings on makes the world you live in understandable to even the most urban of beings, your youth also means you have many more years to continue the mission of bringing folks back into touch with the source of their daily food, something that most just take for granted, never seeing beyond the supermarket shelf.
