Here on my channel, I am renovating a 250 year old stone cottage on my property in Normandy, France. By using traditional, low-waste and off-grid methods, I'm aiming to keep the charm and character of this old building, and turn it into a furnished, finished home for family whilst keeping environmental impact as low as possible. There will also be content on living in France, visiting beautiful rural places, hunting for antiques, gardening and more! Hit subscribe if you would like to keep up with my journey, and hit the notification bell to be alerted when we go LIVE where we have a first viewing of the video as it is published with a live chat so I can answer all your questions! See you in Sean's World.

Love the way the kitten inspectors approved of the new window... Bless ❤
Sam will be so happy with the new window
Love the sound of the birds and insects 🐞 whilst you are working, makes working outside so enjoyable.Much better than ALL the rain you have had
What a sweet cottage! A cozy home.❤❤❤❤ love, good wife, AND kittens. You’re a good man.
Sean the builder can he fix it! sean the builder yes he can! 😉
Yup, the kitty kids certainly do approve of their new window and the beauty of this window is allows for all 4 to view their outside world at once.
The Boss with the stick! LOL 🤣😂 Be sure to clean all that foam stuff so the cats won't eat it. The window looks great! Thanks for sharing, Sean! 👍👍

There's now silver tape over the foam
Greetings from California Sean! Watching you remove the old windows reminds me of how much I value my Oscillating tool, gentle yet quick removal of an old window sash. Not certain I could live without it!
The kittens were so interested in your outdoor activities they are gorgeous.
Your house is like my house: step one is always remove the cats. lol
The kittens are so cute peeking through the window as you worked on the window. What a treat for Sam to have a new window to keep track of you Sean!!! lol Looking good!
Sean I want to thank Sam for sharing you with us, I miss watching & helping my husband when he would do chores at our home…….so “ Thank you “ so much Sam❤️❤️💋💋💋💋🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

You are so welcome!
As always you did a great job placing the window. Those lil darlings are so precious, thank you for the kitten bits. 🌱🌷🌱
Lol! The supervisors came in to inspect your work Sean! Hope you passed their inspection.
Great job Sean. Window looks perfect.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Least Sean you got a kitties’paws seal 🐈⬛🐈🐯🐱🐾 🐾 🐾 🐾 of approval.😺😻putting that new window in.😊
Sean, you make it look easy and it is so enjoyable and mesmerizing to watch you work!
Your helpers were pretty precious, Sean!
Thank you all very much for beautiful episode! Be well, stay safe all. 💖🥰😊😎👍
The window fitting will be all the better for the help from the kitten club!
It must be so frustrating working against the weather, love those little kittens nosing into everything 😊
Every man ... of any age ... needs a project!
I love the way Sean explains what he is going to do, then does it!!! And thinks ahead on anything okay to re-use . Great bvlog !!!!

Well he is hardly likely to explain how to do a thing, then do something completely different!

Welcome grouchy people. Try the other side of the bed 😂❤
Nice looking window ,good job .... we say in France " petit a petit , l'oiseau fait son mid " slowly slowly the bird makes its nest !! ...
I like that Cherrywood print wallpaper in your living room
I can see you are going to have to build a heavy wire screen for the inside, because in nice weather the Royal Feline Family is going to require that window open for their fresh air needs!
Next time you use spray insulation, try using blue painters tape on the window to keep the spray foam from drying on the new window. Easy to remove later.
Sean, great job on the window volg. I love watching you work. You explain what you're going to do and then have the patience and wherewithal to do an amazing job of it. Cheers
Poor Sam has been waiting on that window forever Sean !!! Have a great day !
Great job Sean. Air tight, watertight, insulated. xx
Nope, you can't just take the old window out and put in a new one. Never that easy is it? Good job Sean. You have wonderful patience. Great, always enjoyable to watch you work.
Your supervisors are certainly keeping you on your toes. 😊
Lovely job on the window . You're brave cutting the dish cable. No corrie, Ender's or Emmerdale. Husbands have ended up under the patio for less 😋

If that was all the programmes available would treat my hubby to a steak dinner for cutting the cable !!!
Wow Sam you have finally got your new window Brilliant 🤗👍💐 Well Done Sean 🤗👍☕🍰 kittens so cute 🤗 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Slowly but surely the hard work is paying off - the front of all the cottages looks great 😀and love the banter between Sean and Sam.
Thanks Sean always enjoy your vlogs which explain how you tackle these renovation jobs. I watch with my husband and we have picked up a lot of tips and understanding of the best way to complete these jobs properly. It reminds me of my Dad who was an old school carpenter back in the day. Well done

Sean, I like how you explain what your doing and sharing it.
Thanks for the video, Sean. I learned a lot, as I do with all of them. I wish I had even 10% of your DIY skills! Seems there isn't anything that you can't do. And you have a knack for explaining each step of your projects so that its clear what you are doing. Thank you!
I’m sure you’ll both me much happier without the window leaking! Good job!
I think the style of windows you have in your home and cottage are so pretty and practical! I have never seen this kind where I live.
Well done 👍
A great job Sean! I love to watch you do your projects! I kept hearing the kitties. I thought it was my cat! Haha! Little by little you are transforming your property. I was thinking, a window from 100 years ago is from the 1920's! I feel so old! Was your 2 cottages that you put together to make your house as bad as the other cottages? You have done so much work!! Have a good weekend.
Yeahhhhhhh, finally Sam got the new window!!!
Happy wife and happy husband.Good job Sean, another 100 years done.😂❤❤
Cats wont get wet now as they gaze out the window and Sam will be happy that it won't leak.💧💧😂❤
Great job. You got that window in just in time. Those kittens are darling!
The new window looks great, Sean! I appreciate how well you explain the process as you are going along. Thanks for another great video! Looking forward to the next one.
Looks great!
Love the wallpaper in the room.
Your wife seems like a real sweetheart🙂
Sam has been patient in waiting for that to be changed 😂 well done - as always a beautiful job Sean.
Nice job per usual…love the audience
Quite a process to get that window installed!! But, when it's done, you'll get serious points from Sam, Sean!! And, me too!! 🇺🇸

Very nice the way those windows just lift out.
My brain's perception of the size of the window made you look about 3ft tall when you climbed up into the window frame 😄 That window is huge!
In the US we have several types of can foam. One is specially for doors and windows. Its a low volume expanding foam with minimal pressure to prevent window and door frames from bowing One of the names is actually Window and door Maybe available in France online if you cant find it in the place you normally show for supplies
That room will be a lot warmer 😊
Love the kitties watching. The window looks good. Sam will be happy and so will you and the cats.❤
Thanks for the window installation demo.❤ nice work.
Sean, you are such a good teacher! You explain everything as you go! Love your “can do” attitude!
Good to see Sean still doing great work love these renos
Absolutely brilliant Sean 👏👌 Well done yep happy wife Happy life 👍😁💐
Sean you can use those holes for hooks for flower boxes… would be amazing to plant herbs… for all Sam’s delicious food, easy access or if you hang a cat structure then you can plant catnip plants.

I loved watching your work... and your curious snoopervisors... lol
Great job! You and Sam will love that new window!😊❤
Hi Sean, Sam and kitties. Love that you explain the process and we can watch how to do it. You make it look easy, but it’s not. Years of experience and know how. Thanks I enjoyed this video. Cheers Trish NZ 🍻🥂🕊️🙏🙋♀️
Well done good job. Are the little mischievous kittens ever aloud out ? I’m sure they are impatiently waiting 🥰🥰🥰🥰
You have quality control overlooking your work!
Brilliant job xx
Always learning as we watch how to do things! Thank you. And we love Sam's work motivator! To cute!
Sam hello good to see you😊
Some one will be happy. Didn't take long for the boss to check on you. It's hard to level when the label on the bottle is crooked.
Because of the cement the window was rotting. So the window wasn't 100 years old. You did a good job Sean.

Cement has been used in construction widespread since 1850 invented by the Romans

Sean, You are a good teacher!
I love your helpers in the window!🐈🐈⬛ window looks good. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very informative on the specifics of replacing a window. Difficile with old buildings not standard sizes
Hello Sean
The way this has been done really helps me understand how to go about fixing things. I have no need to fix my windows but it is good information to know for future projects.
Nice work, Hercules...and Lady Sam and guardian lions approved, too!
Hi sean, this is one job I've got to do at my cottage. I'm wondering if I could use upvc windows or if I need to use wooden ones. Good to watch how you did it
❤
Wow lots of work to do the foaming. It’s messy - we’ve done that at our place too. You’ve got a new Patron!
