Perfect song but dang that was hard to watch. This was absolutely a loss to music and America as a whole. As a veteran, I have a special place in my heart for Toby as he was a huge advocate for past and present service members.

I 100% agree with you. As a wife of a veteran and coming from a family of vets, He had a special place in my heart too. His devotion to the vets was just wonderful!

So as Toby plays his first concert in Heaven tonight Wayman Tisdale will be on bass. Bless both of you superstars 🎸

In September 2023 he was awarded the People Choice Country Icon Award & he sang a song he wrote for Clint Eastwood. They had been talking & he asked Clint how he kept going at his age & Clint said, 'I get up & go outside & don't let the old man in'. Toby went home & wrote 'Don't let the old man in' & gave the song to Clint for his birthday. Clint used it in his movie 'The mule' a few years back & it's a powerful song. Toby sang it in September 2023 & it was a fitting song for him to sing. He was frail & thin & it was hard to watch, but I'm glad I did. He fought until the very end. I had just seen an interview by him a week ago. I love that man & his music. God bless him. May he rest in peace.

Toby is the Best of the Best, such a loss to us all. He's singing in Heaven, those lucky souls to hear him...one day we will be with Toby at his concerts.

My Uncle worked for Toby when he played in our city a few times. Said he was one of the nicest guys. Very sad day.

A man of great character and never complained....ugh....the world has lost so much in Toby Keith as he daily inspired others on all levels. Thanking Toby for all he is. I was listening to youtube this morning while doing some housework. Had my settings set to play the next video automatically. I often hear Toby songs. But this morning, youtubes selections for me suddenly turned into all Toby songs. I didn't mind, and enjoyed listening. When I was finished cleaning, I went and got on X. And that is when I found out he had passed. Heartbreak and tears all day. I don't usually feel affected by the passing of a celebrity, but this time was different. I feel terrible for his beautiful wife and family. God bless them all.

My wife and I were just talking about Toby. Played his music and all this because I live in Nashville surrounded by country but Toby was my favorite. It's too close to home for me. You see I was diagnosed with Necrotizing pancreatitis and within the last few days hospitized for colitis. I know I've got a battle ahead and never drank until this last year and half. I'm a father to a disabled 20 year old son and it's hard. How selfish of me for even going there. I'm thinking about Toby and praying for him, his family and all whom loved this man. He was a true patriot so God love on his family, let them find comfort and peace. Lots of Love from Nashville

WayMan Tisdale and Toby Keith were both victims of cancer but they are back together in heaven now and guys keep rockin' it for all music fans!! RIP Music Legends!!

Toby Keith was a big fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. Which is also my favorite college team, and the team that Wayman played for. You could see him on the sidelines for many of the football games this past season, and even gave a sideline interview.

As a country boy and grew up listening to Toby this really hurt me and the sad news killed me us country people will be morning a legendary country singer,a true patriot,and such a humble soul. May he trade his spears for wings and when he gets heaven he find a nice quiet place to take a few drinks. RIP Toby

I've been a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners since the 70s and this song always got to me but after Toby's passing it hits hard, I've driven by the water tower with his name on it more times than I can count but from now on I'll have a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye
