this happens to me too, I have TMJ disorder :(( but I have started going to PT for my jaw and it really helps!!

That happened to me tooo! thought it was normal 😢

I had something like that except not cause of gum. I started to crack my jaws on either side because my classmate in year 5/6 used to do it cause it helped with stress. Then once in a while I used to get locked jaws. It was acc soo scary! I stopped in Dec 2021 but I still hear the sounds when yawning other than that I’m fineee

Okay so I have the same problem but a little bit worse and I sleep with a mouth guard from my orthodontist too it helps a lot and it also helps to go to a massage therapist, chiropractor, pt….but I recommend trying dry needling my orthodontist recommended it and it has helped me so much and I’ve only done a few muscles….love you sm hope you get better❤️
