Beautiful speech and video brother. I am not only a 6.0 owner here in Canada but also a diesel mechanic for 35+ years. Everything you said is my story to a tee. Bill was awesome I was so upset when I heard. He is the only reason I have this truck. Would have never considered a Ford much less a 6.0 Powerstroke. He changed my mind, love my truck.I watched every video of his did everything myself he saved me so much work ,money and aggravation. The man is a legend all the way up here in Canada. Miss him. Nice video you made thank you. Take care.

Im the original owner of a 2004 f350 crew cab 6.0 dully with a bit over 200k I watch his videos and made me understand that yes the 6.0 is problematic but its far better then a 6.4 and done right it can put down alot of miles .Mine is all original no chip nothing and so far no head gasket problems and thank also to a friend who is retired but a ford tec that even worked on my truck while it was in for warranty work back in the day now keeps in in great shape thats why I still own it . Thanks Bill rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear that he had passed. I like so many others gained so much knowledge from him. He was such a good teacher. So entertaining and charismatic. I never owned a Power Stroke but always hoped to buy one from him one day. RIP PowerstokeHelp. Bill Hewitt

I just recently learned of this sad information. I also had watched all of Bill’s videos over the years. In 2006 I bought an 04 F250 6L. Mine was trouble free for the 90k i owned it. It was an excellent running engine, 100% stock. I sold that truck 11 years ago when I came across a spotless super low mileage 00 F250 7.3, same basic truck even the same exact color. I still own that truck today, it lives in my garage like a fine sports car. RIP Mr. Bill Hewitt.

I bought my 05 Dark Copper Metalic King Ranch from Bill back in sept of 2018. It was one of his completely restored trucks. (The copper truck in the "molecules vs paper" video belive it or not) I flew down from upstate NY and drove it home and did the whole trip in 22 hours. I bought the truck 190k on it and she just hit 260k today and she runs like a dream. A few weeks ago someone stopped by a store i was at and asked me if i was selling it and had asked me if i knew who Mr. Hewitt was, I told him thats where i bought the truck, he didn't believe me so i showed him the Powerstroke Specialty invoice and he begged me to sell it but the answer will always be no. (especially now) RIP Bill Hewitt.
