RIP Antonio Carluccio | 19th April 1937 - 8th November 2017

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I am so so sad at the loss of my dear friend Antonio. Over the years, we had good times, bad times, we cried, we laughed, we argued, we joked. I remember when I first met him at The Neal Street Restaurant in the 1980's when I used to bring him his beloved wild mushrooms. I then worked for him and the rest is history. So much fun, years later, working together on The Two Greedy Italians series and all the live shows and demos. One thing for sure, together with Jamie Oliver I will miss him so much - our chats, our arguments and banter. He was like my big brother. RIP Antonio. Although you're gone, you will be forever in my heart and I will feel your presence in everything I do

So glad we can still access footage of you and Antonio working together. I work for NHS and on times over last few years it's been tough, my way of dealing with this is watching Two Greedy Italians. You are a joy to watch, sadly Antonio is no longer with us, but watching the shared respect, love and passion for food and Italy you both shared is the best ever thank you 💖🥰

I only found the Two Greedy Italians BBC show about 2 years ago. I love the show so much I made my whole family watch it over and over again (poor creatures). I still watch it at least once a month.. It really spoke to me. I found that more than any other, Antonio's recipes were great as they were simple and full of flavor. I have thoroughly enjoyed the recipes and have many of Antonio's books. Antonio and Genaro are real inspirations to me and I miss that guy already. Genaro you must keep the tradition going! :( God Bless You Antonio..
