I think that stick drift is kind of a blessing in disguise. It can trigger the aim assist because the game thinks that you are moving your stick. However it can get very annoying for movement.

My Xbox Series S/X controller has terrible drift. Even if I don't try to move the look joystick, it keeps looking down. Which is why I got a DualSense controller.

In consolé maybe It can help u cuz the aim assist is stronger but in pc is straight Up a disadvantage

You should have gotten the official ps5 pro controller, it has fully replaceable Stick modules which means easy stick drift fix. The only downside is that in order for the controller to work you need an actual ps5 to set up.

Next time search KZread for a how-to. There’s a lot of disassembly vids on most controllers. I did one for nacon. If you have a soldering iron you can fix your potentiometer casing(the green thing). The old pins need to be removed and you need to replace it with a new one. Also you have to have the exact size potentiometer ring. I put one in that looked like it was for my controller but it wasn’t an exact match. There’s different sizes. That’s probably why you were stuck looking up. That’s exactly what mine did when I put the wrong size in.

Scuf has always been notorious for stick drift and fragility

Ive been seeing things about an aim controller from a lot of streamers and they seem pretty cool they give a lifetime warranty so if your controller gets drift they will give you a new one as well as from what I’ve heard, instead of other companies, like scuffing all that where they’ll just fully rebuild a controller this website actually will just mod basic controllers, make a bit more trusted as well as seeming a lot more affordable from what I could tell but thats just what ive heard

u can just get a ps3 or xbox 360 controllers, i bought a 360 controller for like 4 years ago for my pc and y use it or call of duty trickshotting, which means i have to move the joysticks a lot, and it still doesnt have drift because the sensors are good, and if u wanna use ps3 or xbox 360 sensors on newer controllers u can, theyre totally compatible

I got a scuf a couple months ago with custom faceplate and 4 paddles with trigger stoppers and I absolutely love it. I hope this doesn't happen to me lol

The same thing happend to my controller aswell but the thing that is different is that the character moved by itself even if I didn't move the joystick and it was annoying af.

Dang the flipping camera you bought is so good.

Tip: if this happens again, get the dual sense edge controller since you can remove the sticks in it and replace them with new ones. And then just modify it to your likings (and budget)

The reason the screws are so tight that if you were to replace the controller they would know if you opened it or not and the guarantee will end the second you unscrew even 1 of the screws and its made like you could not unscrew bc there is like little plastic things that will break after you unscrew it

The thing you pulled out was a ribbon cable which was probrably for the gyro sensors and it broke something idk and you broke the potentiometer sensor so that is why you cant look around.

that green thing is what connects the sensor to the board also the reason they dont use hall effect sensor is because scuff controllers are real ps5 controller with just paddlaes slapped onto them so until sony doesnt start using hall efect sensor they also wont

Thats why you need to get the duel sense edge

Hi prem, this weekend when you were streaming I got into ur game and I left right before you got in.

this is one of the reasons i got a ps5 dualsense egde: so then you dont have to replace the controller all u have to do when u get stick drift is replace the stick module which cost £20 or $20 and thats 3x cheaper than a new controler

But the dualsense edge and buy these 3d print buttons so you have four paddles and no drift because the dualsense edge you can buy new stick modules

Hi prem a friend had a problem like this so I have done some research on how to fix it. Only way is to solder new joysticks on which I could do. If ur not going to do anything with it I could maybe try fixing it for you?. Maybe you could do a video on it. We could 1v1 for it (im trash tho). Anyway happy to help!

It is because you put control freaks on top of the scuff sticks btw as they mask the sticks feel a lot worse.

I had a PS3 10 years ago and it just started drifting in 2021

There is a way to get that same controller for a lower price and also it will last a lot longer just get a starlight blue ps5 dualsense controller because this color of controller is made with better parts. Then just buy mouse click trigger stoppers and 4 paddles to attach onto ur ps5 dualsense controller all together it will be around $120

Hey you can fix stick drift most of the time btw. You can take the controller apart and clean it.

i bought a scuf controller about a year ago and played other games with it a ton but not fortnite that much. Its fine for me. Also mine was a little weird and i sent it back and it took a while, but eventually they did send it back to me and its fine now.

bro this happened to me on my dualshock and i tried fixing it by myself and the analog completly broke and i ended up giving it to a controller shop to fix it

Both of my ps5 controllers have drift, I bought my ps5 in 2022 and they got drift within a few months. Sometimes it randomly goes away and comes back which is so weird. That’s one of the main reasons I play kbm on fortnite now 😭

what i do when that happend is open up the contorler and fix the sticking thing

Get a dual sense edge so you can fix drift you can even take out the stick moguls or just get a default controller and customize it like the scuff don’t blame me if I said it wrong. hey prem there is a controller called the gamesir g7 se, its an xbox controller with a hall effect joystick ( its better than the ones playstation,xbox and nintendo use which is the potientometer thingy) the only bad side is that it has 2 horribly placed back paddles but yea

It’s because you have your controller dead zone up in in your settings

Try pull it up moving round a few times push it down and go round a few times and it should help
