Dunno why ghosting through minions is somehow not an ability everyone has. Getting creep blocked against the wall like that is absolutely unacceptable in these games, and fighting in minion waves could actually bring power back to melee and aoe laners vs range characters.

chogath q should just look like a line skill shot, like an underground shaking thing that pops out at the end, so you know the direction but not the distance

Problem is that Tyler doesn't walk up to Kennen, he wants to land his Q first instead of slowing with E and then silencing with W. Chogath is supposed to be melee, no champs can go toe to toe with him in that range when he has ult, he also has amazing wave clear, which Tyler doesn't utilize. You can see him out trade Kennen here 2:31 so it's clear that the winning match up should be Cho. Mercs would have helped here too, given that tenacity is valuable against Kennen.

For me the fix for Cho Q would be making it so if you can't see him, you can't see the ability charge up It's fucking WILD that Nunu's ult is completely invisible until the moment you step into the brush with him, but somehow champs can clock invisible spikes preparing to pop out the ground even if the guy stomping them up is out of LoS

remove the stomp animation before ability activation and Cho Q is perfect you can even give it a very slightly longer CD by 1 to 1.5 extra seconds they say Ekko is the most obvious ability user in the game but god damn does cho Q make it a difficult decision the mother fucker stomps then you have audio Q then you see where its going to hit when you already have a good idea then it pops its like a solid 1.5s - 2s from button press to pop

because tyler only plays mechanically simple champions and has limited champion pool he's comfortable with. I don't remember seeing anything other than illaoi/cho/urgot/quinn and maybe olaf for his top lane in the last 4 years

Most of them think they "won lane" despite hard losing post-6. That's the biggest challenge as a melee v ranged top matchup: surviving until you have ult then finding an opportunity to all-in them.
