RION RE100 Electric Scooter First Look & FPV Test Ride

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We take a first look at the RION RE100 electric scooter. This is the RION race edition and it's insanely fast. The powerful acceleration, awesome Magura stopping power, and cornering ability make this an awesome racing machine. It's the first time I've ridden it, so I'm not super comfortable on corners and during acceleration yet, but I hope to have more time on this machine in the future.

One thing nobody seems to ever test on these scooters is the 0-60 mph time. Manufacturers don’t publish figures either. It would be really awesome to see a dragy gps or similar device mounted on one of these to test the 0-60 time. I would imagine the Rion RE90 Racing could do 0-60 in under 4 seconds, but it is yet to be seen.

  • @AlienRides

Yup, heat is definitely a part of any motor and also something that needs to be considered. Long hill climbs can overheat some motors. That's one of the reasons why the RIon motors are vented for example, to help cool them.

Wobbles can be a bit tough to counter. I did a video on a steering damper recently, check it out, some techniques in that video could be helpful. One of the tips is applying more weight to your front foot to apply more traction on the front tire. Another tip is to get a longer handlebar which improves steering. Let me know how it goes.

S D I’ve seen the zeros, but have not seen the 11X yet, hopefully some day. The Dualtron X suspension is really great, the best scooter suspension I’ve ever tried. It is beefy, but super comfortable to ride. No cons unless you have to pick it up, dont want to do that. The new Rion site went live where you can buy the race editions. wearerion.com

@@AlienRides Yeah the x11 have just come out I think in singapore but look pretty sturdy as well for a more off road riding. I would love to pick either up. Just sucks their priced as much as a motorbike. But look like so much fun. I'd love to get a few here in Australia. Love the vidz and reviews, super helpful with the replies. Got a sub from me.

I don't remember exactly which ones these were, but they were basically just some aftermarket bike lights. Something like this: amzn.to/33juzac
