LOL nice tactic from japan. ( mind game + conservative defense ) using 2 shot clocks to wear the russian down, giving japan the advantage to call the final blow

sowhat sowhat ...two delay points... However the tallish opponent did not show technical superiority; rather, the champion began to prove she stymied the taller opponent, and began to demonstrat that the taller opponent could not succeed at anything tried. This in itself is a form of being more in control. Then one solid takedown, plus gaining compete control in the follow up after the takedown. This, after in effect, having proven too skilled and strong and expertly defensive for the opponent to succeed at anything tried. 1. Taller opponent tried, yet couldn't, in fact never succeeded, in putting the Japanese champion in any "trouble". 2. The champion actively put halts (controlled the actions) to all attempts the tall opponent tried. This is actually a form of having control of the activity. The tall opponent could not demonstrate any control or dominant, nor technical superior action. Tall wrestler was beginning to get worn down, trying. The champion also began to tire the tall opponent, by leaning on her from an above, on-top-of-her-back double-arm body wrap position, which the the taller did not shuck out of, or shuck off, but was left stuck under this strength hold, held in place by the champion. 3. The solid takedown by the champion. Thereafter, the opponent could not counter, at all. The takedown was complete, and complete control was executed by the champion. Opponent continued to counter again, yet the champion re-established control once more. The progression of successful control and dominant activity increasingly was exerted by the champion, steadily, capped off by the 100% takedown.

Two great wrestlers. I'm sure a rematch will occur at some point because Sara Dosho is still active and Masako Furuichi would benefit from additional time to develop. I also tip my hat to the British announcers, who did a great job.

Women wrestlers from Japan usually make for the best women wrestlers possible. Japanese women wrestlers are the best women wrestlers by far for the most part. Women wrestlers from Japan take their wrestling seriously and are usually victorious in their wrestling matches. Much respect and admiration for Japanese women wrestlers.

Winning by criteria is why wrestling will never become a mainstream success. The winner of a match has to be the one with the most points. Dosho was extremely lucky to have won that match.
