Just before 5:30am, emergency personnel were called to a structure fire at 117 West Main Street in Ringtown.
As firefighters arrived on scene, heavy smoke was scene coming from the structure, a 2nd alarm was dispatched.
Firefighters from Schuylkill, Columbia, Northumberland, and Luzerne Counties were called to the scene to fight the fire and also transport water.
Along with the fire, emergency personnel dealt with extreme cold temperatures.
The fire has destroyed several homes as well as Rentschler's Store.
As of 8:30am, firefighters are still fighting an active fire.
