Well...... Yeah.
From inside the tower, it looks like it just consists of timber and sheets of wall paper, but no no! apparently it's ancient!! isn't it cute? mw2.google.com/mw-panoramio/ph...
As for the history, im not quite sure. Apparently there was a three hanging here (the present back three), then they were augmented to 5 (loaned to bells from Keltic perhaps?) then there was a final augmentation, consisting of 2 Taylor trebles, and a Gillet Third.
The words I would use to describe the go of the bell I am ringing in this video are Snatchy, Flighty, and Over-Greased! :) But, there sound and go grow on you after half an hour! I love them :]

Good god. Mind you the only time i didnt struggle was when i circled the tower from my knees! They do grow on you though, but the clapper knock is horrendous.

Hmm you weren't given much co-operation there lol... I never can understand how some people struggle to ring up and down vaguely in rounds.
