    It is white gold alloy mixed by me, rich in palladium, mechanical hardened. This alloy it is hard but not brittle, like some casting alloys. It is very similar to platinum. If one stone mounted by me will "fly" this stone would be the first. Thank you for asking. Coly

    The engraver he used Was done by hand I think (correct me if I'm wrong) not electric or air assisted I suppose you may be able to run a sharpened old burr to a sharp needle point and run it at High rpm and "draw" with it that's maybe though I've never tried it. Hope this helps answer your question.

  • @Ken_Dalton

    gilera runner it's an air assisted graver man. It don't work in a flex shaft.. There's an easy way to make an air powered graver using an electric compressor for inflating tires.. Check out Shawn Hughes, he goes through how to make one if u are good with your hands. Or u can pick up one of these for like 200 or so

    Saturdays R 4 The Boys no man, it's a whole different system. Pneumatic, air assisted.. Like a powered hammer... Check out my previous comment above. There's a few vids on how to make one by slightly modifying a small compressor you'd have in your car for inflating wheels. It's not crazy difficult.. An they are alot if fun! Hope this helps answer your question

    I always get the spacing wrong. If I want to set 2.5mm stones, how far away should each pilot hole be?

  • @jewellerymadebyhand

    @jewellerymadebyhand

    5 жыл бұрын

    This is always depending of what do you want to do. Stone 2.5mm, distance minimum 2.5mm. Stone 2.5mm is the stone what can by fitted in hole made with 2.5mm burr. 2.5mm stone in reality is 2.45mm to 2.49mm. Coly
