    I'm going to combine Shrapnel that has just been released by Kim Andersen with this trick, and several other ring tricks as well.

    Greetings! I first saw this trick on TV when Mark Wilson was advertising his complete course in magic hardcover in the '80s. It bugged me until I figured it out and then I was so impressed by the effect when I performed it that I bought the book right away. Honestly, I think it is one of the most practical books for a self-starting magician and even more practical than some of the more detailed magic encyclopedias when it comes to getting people up and running and acquainted to the basics. Thanks Doug as always

    Doug I don't why, but your style is amazing to me, and keep the good work! Ring/Coin magic and rope magic are my two weaknesses, so when I saw this my mental capacity overloaded. Thanks for the tutorial, and can you perform more ring magic tricks? I know you won't be able to teach all of them, but I'm thinking about getting more into ring magic because watching it is insane!

    Curious... why do you reveal (teach) in public forums.

  • @DougConn

    @DougConn

    3 жыл бұрын

    Well, I have a few reasons (that begin with 1000's of other bad tutorials on the internet) I think folks would be better off learning from someone who spent a lifetime with the art. SideNote: most (future) tutorials will be based on the Mark Wilson Course (the most widely available beginner book) and my hopes are to inspire folks to READ. I'm doing this with good intentions. Hope it doesn't affect your world too much.

    @@DougConn 😊 👍 Got it. I still wish, it would be done in a private forum, rather than open to the entire planet publicly. I worked with Larry Anderson on JawDroppers, which a lot of our content was from Mark Wilson’s book. (Larry worked with Mark) If you are open to it... I would love to have you as a Guest on my video talkshow, and have a discussion about the topic of public revelation and exposing of magic. #TheMagicBradShow

    In my opinion, there should not be ANY tutorials teaching the magic secrets on the Internet that are accessible to general public. There should be more tutorials on respecting the secrets of the art, and how to be a professional performer. 👍😊 You are good at that. I dig your performance style. 😊 ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

    @@FollowMagicBrad hmmm, I'm guessing MANY magi were dismayed when Jaw Droppers was offered to the planet via tv/informercials (& why would anyone sell those secrets to the public?) but we survived that, the masked magician, 15 years of youtube & we'll endure my minor exposures I"d be happy to discuss / explain my thoughts on your show *but yo, I'm SUPER busy right now... please ask me about this again after the holidays (in 2021)
