When you pick the curves in a different order it will reverse the direction of the sweep.

any chance you could provide the command history? i love the work you've done, however i generally work by typing in commands, whereas you graciously point and click to each step in the workflow, and i'm finding it difficult to follow visually. any help you could provide would be much appreciated! thanks again for the video!

The Surface Seam should be one. You must do everything right. Check your work and find the error. So remotely I can not help, because I do not understand what is being said.

Is to fast....can you going slow..is hard folow comands...I no have skill yet....but, great video.

When I smash this object, it splits it at the top, not the bottom. In other words, my flattened mesh goes from fat to skinny to fat (top of ring on the ends) instead of skinny to fat to skinny so the top of the ring is in the center of the work. Do you know why that is? What did I miss? TIA

+Santa York Thanks, I did not have that issue the next run through your tutorial but on the third pass, it again happened. I noticed when I render curve network, the A,C reference is on the bottom on the failed attempts and on the to top on the successful renditions. Do you know what it is in Rhino that determines what curve it references under edge matching (what curve it chooses as the A,C) in a curve network. I have looked all over the net and cannot find an answer. Having seen other tutorials for Rhino, your tutorial was nearly flawless in comparison. You are truly a master at this program, hoping you know the answer to this. Thanks in advance!!!

честно говоря у меня так тоже периодически бывает. Попробуйте линии построить заново. Изменить угол например. В этом процессе я сам не всегда понимаю логику программы. Ну и при выборе линий для выполнения функции очередность выбора часто играет важную роль, тем самым показывая начало или конец линий. Так же направление вектора линии может влиять. Выберите одну линию или плоскость и нажмите Analyze Direction. Смотрите ссылку www.rhino-book.ru/rhino-analyze-direction.php

Если я правильно понял вопрос, то я использую две функции: Flow Along Curve и Flow Along Surface.

я пользуюсь 3ds max и Fusion 360 но таких функций там нет, очень интересный подход к моделированию, как тебе Риночерос ? огромного хотения нет переходить на него, но когда видишь такие штуки начинай задумываться, еще вопрос пользуешься ли ты Zbrush ?

Я давно моделю в Ринке, ещё пользуюсь Blender и да. ZBrush тоже использую временами. Думаю, что в 3DMax тоже можно придумать как сделать что то подобное.

Здравствуйте! Подскажите пожалуйста, как можно сделать через grasshopper кривую/объект-родителя. Т.е. Есть главная кривая и множество ее копий в разных местах, изменяя ее параметры (точки, масштаб и тд) менялись ее копии соответственно. Просто вручную все менять очень долго, их много. Подумал, что решить это может grasshopper, но поставил его только вчера, опыта работы еще с ним нет, но есть понимание.

Если копии были сделаны через Orient или Copy, то они будут сохранять историю и меняться вместе с "родителем". Главное, что бы была включена "Запись истории" и копии не подвергались изменениям после копирования.
