any issues with delayed notification from any of your Ring devices like the doorbell and how you fix it? I already checked Ring Support and suggested reboot modem and router and issue will comeback after a week or so.

I have not had any of those issues. I would check WiFi signal at the device by going into device health. Low signal can cause slow or unresponsive devices. It's also possible the device is defective.

I would invest in the Ring range extender to keep devices connected to the hub that are FAR away from the Hub itself. I had to add one in my garage to prevent the sensors going offline in there! due to the brick and wet plaster in my home.

Had the SAME problem so I bought a CHIME PRO to extend my network for my doorbell and "choppy" video issues. After installing the CHIME PRO I NO longer have choppy videos from my Ring doorbell or notifications. It was WORTH the price as I NO longer have any video issues with my battery Ring doorbell now!

Q: How far from your wired smoke/fire/CO detectors can you place the Listener unit?

I have the listener right next to it. Maybe 3 inches. This ring support page says 3-6 inches is the recommended placement. support.help.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021289512-Setting-Up-Your-Ring-Smoke-CO-Listener-in-Your-Ring-App?gclid=CjwKCAiAhJWsBhAaEiwAmrNyq_t6FENquOB-N3t-nGVTZhqc1w6Id_5JnFOtgsolQRRA64TPTHSJ7hoCnkIQAvD_BwE

@@TEK411TechThx, but so pricey and ugly that way. This pushed me to simply replace all my Smoke/CO units with the Z-Wave ones that are compatible with Ring.

Just buy the First Alert smoke/CO2 alarm for less than $50 and have No worries! I have TWO and they work flawless and test them every 4months as they are battery powered! I have reminders setup on my phone to remind me to check the status. The batteries last for 2yrs plus!

Seems they hamstring the system for self monitoring. No digital notifications sent to you if the system goes off..

You can but features are limited! If you live alone or have a family it's worth the upgrade to 24/7 monitoring for CO2 alerts with the First Alert smoke/CO2 add-ons and the "panic" features offered. Only $200 a year and worth it as what is LIFE or your loved ones safety worth to you?

I have had a Schlage "smart deadbolt" that uses Z-Wave that works with Ring for over 4yrs now and NO issues! Sadly, they are WAY more expensive now than they were 4yrs ago and NOT really sure why!

You can! Just get an adapter or voltage regulator that outputs 5V to micro USB, and the keypad will stay powered. Ring documentation even says this is OK to do.
