Despite the threat of a major storm (Hurricane Hillary) hasn't hit us in over 80 years for the month of August. Weather forecasters were telling us we can expect to receive more than 2 inches of rain with hurricane speed winds. Well, when Hillary made land fall, slowly she dropped to a topical storm, we DID get heavy rains and wind for a twenty four hour period starting late Saturday night. I can tell you it was impressive to see/feel that much rain and wind during the month of August, normally here in So. Cal were just HOT! DRY! and MUGGY! as F@^K! Yet people who came out for the Fiesta had a good time chill'n, eating good food and having good drink, play softball - basketball.
