Agreed. I’ve been writing and playing for almost 3 years now. It’s tough to tell a tale like this. The words and melody have to be perfect to create an art piece like this. I’ve got a few songs I’m proud of, but not many that are ‘perfect’

Here’s a fact: the biggest reason for homelessness is the sudden and immediate loss of family. It can happen to any of us. This song hit the nail on the head. Riley, if you’re reading this, there is a ministry here in Florida that houses the chronically homeless and I would love to talk to you about how to get this in front of them and the community that’s supporting them. Now if you don’t mind, I’ll be playing this on repeat for the next little while.

In Denver the biggest reason for homelessness is without a doubt drug addiction. I figured it was that way everywhere. But Sounds like It’s not true in Florida where you are.

@@pegtop5455 drug addiction for sure is an issue here as well but after learning so much from the ministry about what leads to things like that, it’s loss of family. Very sad but there is hope for those in those situations from organizations like the one here.

​@@pegtop5455Each person has a story for their homelessness. Drugs can even happen after as a way to cope with being lost. It might look like drugs to the outside observer, but usually it's something else first.

There’s a reason they started walking down that path and often don’t find their way to a different path unless they either just hit rock bottom and say it’s enough or they figure out the cause of their desire. It’s like trying to track down the symptoms to find the cause of the problem

I get teary-eyed every time I hear this and reminds me to pray for the struggles alot of us go thru in life no one knows about . I pray you keep the faith and love everyone as you do yourself,this goes a long way. I have a marriage relationship with my Heavenly Father and want everyone to have this . This I pray Amen

I am from a small southern (used to be a Mill town). When I was a kid there was literally an older man that used to walk around town with a sign that said JESUS SAVES. I hadn't thought about him in a long time.

This song brings me to tears. My grandpa lived that life and is currently fighting dementia. It’s hard to believe this country sent all of our young men to fight in a civil war in Vietnam and many of the survivors managed to make it home and live happy lives because of their faith in God.
