I’ve been a Christian for 24 years now. So I grew up praying to God, but my prayers lately are what I can call my broken prayers. I lost my twin girls a little over a month ago. I don’t understand, I feel lost and confused. Every time I pray I just cry so hard it feels like my heart is physically hurting. Since the day I lost my babies, my prayers have been “God I am hurt. God I am confused. God why? God please help me! God take away the pain and sorrow.” I can’t find the words. But I believe God sees me, He knows my heart and He hears me. Even though my prayers have been of frustration and disappointment right now, one day God will turn my mourning into dancing and my sorrow into joy. He hears my broken prayers.

I remember I used to lay in bed crying so hard until I felt like I had to vomit about a year ago. I was dating someone who was so toxic and made me feel horrible about myself. I listened to this day SOOOO much through those dark times. I can confidently say God answered my prayers ❤️ He listener to my broken prayers and made me whole again. He also sent me a very special person who is everything I could’ve asked for and more. That’s the power of prayer, no matter how broken it is God will always put it together and heal you ❤️

I know you have feelings. But you throw those feelings and stop letting the devil decieve you. God has someone for you. God will not let you down. He will not give you someone who will break you but build you. God has a plan. Forget yours and trust his.

He wants to watch you succeed, wants you to come to him with every single good thing that has ever happened to you... but at the same time he also wants to lift you up when you just don't feel like you can do it anymore. I talk to him very impersonally, all the time, showing him just who I am. The beautiful creation he's made that I am slowly learning to love

This song!! It hits home so much! Widowed twice by age 35, rape survivor at age 18… and just lost my momma/best friend October 24 2021 She was ALWAYS here for me! Because she didn’t have a good mom nor had one so she was more than amazing! No matter what If did good or bad she had unconditional love fir me! My momma taught me how to pray and the power of praying!! ❤️💐 I miss her so much! I know God has a plan after all I have been through in my life and I’m here to help others who are going through what I have or what I have not!!

I am really broken. And most of the time, people don't want to see or hear about that part of me. But this song made me realize that it's okay to be a little broken. God loves us even if we are broken, he hears our broken prayers.

This song gets me. I'm tired of hiding my true feelings, struggles, battles and brokenness behind the 'perfectness' of religion. I just need Jesus, he doesn't just love what I do but who I am. He chose me at my darkest time. Why would I be afraid to show weakness before him? Religion put such a heavy weight on us we turn out being someone we're not. It's ok not to be ok sometimes.

My Mom died because of cancer on November 18 2020. We prayed so hard that God would heal her and she would live. This song is exactly how i feel because even though our prayers wasn't answered the way we wanted. We wanted her to live longer here on earth. Broken Prayers is exactly how i feel. Bit i still Love Jesus even if he took momma home to heaven and not let me keep her longer.

Riley, this is one of my top 5 favorite songs. I love it. When I feel down or that no matter how hard I pray and I feel that God doesn’t hear me, I am reminded by this song, that God will take me as I am. He hears my prayers in the moments of joy and the moments of soul shredding pain.

Finally-a song that isn’t some holier than though song.

But there is no other way. You see Jesus is the way the truth and the life he suffered and so shall we that believe. Praise the holy name of Jesus!

I just tell myself everybody goes through hard times and it is gonna get better soon, I accept things are not easy and I take it day by day in doing things like music or talking to a friend or whatever makes me feel a little better. As you have hope in god, I have hope in tomorrow and in myself to make it :)

Love this song because it speaks a truth we all need to hear. We shouldn’t try so hard to go around our grief or camouflage our pain. Grieving is necessary to get to the other side better, not bitter. Not an easy task. Takes courage and strength to embrace our true feelings.

There are probably a lot of other people who have been touched by this song the way I’ve been. Hearing these lyrics, I’m reminded of the fact that God loves even our brokenness. As one of my best friends says, we are beautifully broken. Through our wounds and scars, we are brought before God so that we have no choice but to accept and confess that only God makes us perfect and only He can fill our emptiness and cracks with His love and grace. If you’ve read this far, I have faith that God has led you to this song and just want to say that He loves you no matter what because you are beautifully broken.

i think to the time i asked the Lord to use every bit of my being. to fill me with the duty of serving and worshipping i was broken and coming to know the love of the lord and how he has always been there and known my name even when i looked in the mirror and didnt know who i was anymore.. this song brings back the best night in February 2021 when i gave my life to the LORD!!
