Yes, they were part of the same theatre group "Gekidan Himawari" as children. They've known each other for a very long time.

Yes, 1st grade in Miyu's case, since Mamo is 6 years older than him. Their moms are friends too, so they both used to go to each others homes to hang out. You could say they grew up together.

miyu complimenting himself is such a MOOD. and mamo-chan's calling miyu cute is a BIG MOOD.

In conclusion, Mamo: Miyu kawaiii~ Miyu: Shaddup Mamo: I don't get it but you're kawaii~ Miyu: SHADDUP

Such a cute friendship, having a childhood bestie is seriously the best it must be so fun voice acting together, it brings their characters friendship so much more real

I heard they are very close friends. Boy, I wish there was a seiyuu event that these two can attend together like haikyuu, now that Miyano was casted as Miya Atsumu. I SWEAR THESE TWO ARE THE FUNNIEST AND MOST FUN SEIYUUs TO HAVE AROUND 🤧

I heard it too from Miyano-san himself (during his guesting on Tokyo Encounter) that there were a period that he is always together with Irino-san.

LMAO I feel like Mamorun's acting more like Sora would, and Irino-san is acting more like Riku would XD THEY'RE SO LOVEABLE

Every time I see Haikyuu events Irino-San is the one teasing everybody, now I understand where he got it from 😂🙌🏻

Miyano: "As he matured his hair became a bristly mane." Irino: "Yeah it even repelled Water." That... really does sound like Sora's hair 🤣
