@@69booger. about midway through the fight she forms 4 pillars.. blow one up and poof column of light. Not sure if before then if you can clear the ceiling.

To clarify on the Queen Gibdo, any elemental infused attack can get her into her vulnerable state, you don’t have to use Riju’s ability. If you infuse an elemental onto your arrow (gems, chuchu, elemental fruit, etc) it work A LOT better than waiting on Riju.

Also, fire elements work five times better than lightning. By catching her on fire, it ensures that you’re hitting her on her weak state

@@meepmonster750 I had the Thunder Geelok horn which adds 30 power but also had lightning effect when used it definitely made the temple easier for me but tbh I duped the item because farming it would definitely take to much time

The difference is, youre using materials while riju's power is infinite

I know peeps are saying Wind Temple is the best but i absolutely love this Dungeon because it reminds me the most of old school Zelda Dungeons.

The Wind Temple is the MOST Devine Beast feeling. Lightning is the most OoT feeling. EXCEPT they would have ONE light that has to reflect everywhere. My first time around I didn't see the 2nd light and I was attaching 6 Zonai mirrors to bounce the light around AND IT WORKED lol.

The amount of reckless ascending I did that had my head popping out in the boss battle room - hitting back real quick on those ones

I love this game so much because I solved almost every puzzle in the temple slightly differently than he did and obviously it worked for both of us. I love this games open-ended approach to many of the puzzles that essentially allow you to solve them any way you want.

Neat stuff, I just climbed everywhere. For two of the temples.

Best pre-dungeon storyline I've done so far. I haven't done the Goron one yet. Zora was underwhelming, Rito was also cool especially since it was the first one I did. The buildup while ascending higher and higher was amazing. But I really loved this tower defense ish thing they did here.

@@clairenewberry9957 it's been a while but i think it was just alright. i would rank it above zora though. it can be cheesed pretty easily with the hover bike, but i wanted to explore the whole thing so i did it the "intended" way and it was pretty cool riding around in carts

For the Gibdo nests, especially on Phase 2 of the boss. I just use a Bomb arrow and that clears the nest without needing to wait for Riju's ability.

Riju: I can't hit a stationary target. Also Riju: Hey Link, shoot an arrow at the location you want me to smite.

Yeah like aiming in the direction of the arrow, and the metal arrowhead draws the lightning to it

It's a circle of where anything metal will strike lightning, arrows have metal

I just used a 5x bow with bomb arrows and this was done so fast it’s crazy. I didn’t have to wait for it to change colors or anything. Bomb arrows did damage whatever color it was. Easily the easiest boss I’ve beaten. No tornados or anything popped up. I killed it so fast no Gibdos attacked me at all. They popped up but I walked around doing bomb arrows and didn’t get close to me to attack

I just did this quest line last night. LOL. Fun fact, when you pick up the quest line in the Gerudo Shelter, there is an underground passage that connects the Shelter to the ruins where you find Riju so that you don't have to walk through the open desert during the sandstorm, and I thought that was pretty neat.

The way Austin talks cracks me up. "Oooh! You're one of those big boys! I definitely want your horn!" Lmao

I hung out in the hot air balloon room for a while farming gibdos. I just had some mirror light beams across the room and stood around as they walked into the beams and melted. Super satisfying!

Did I plan to wait for Austin’s video for this? Yes. Did I end up doing it before the video came out? Yes. Am I still watching the whole thing? Also yes 😅

Once again the Riju/Urbosa mission is the best of them. 😊

I have played through this game SIX times now and I NEVER knew about the room with the two spinning wheels until just now! I always found some complicated way to aim the mirrors to get the light to light up that last statue. I think I had to Ultrahand a mirror and twist it to get the light there This was a much more elegant, fun solution. Glad I decided to watch this video before doing this temple my latest run through -- just because I wanted to see what Austin had to say!

The gibdo setting itself on fire reminds me of one time when I was playing BotW. I decided to go up against a black moblin even though at that point I was still pretty early in the game and probably shouldn't have been doing that. The moblin was standing near a torch, and when it swung its dragonbone moblin club, the weapon caught fire. Then the flaming club made contact with the grass around the moblin, and the grass caught fire. The moblin was standing on the grass, so the moblin caught fire. Made that fight a little bit easier.

Just completed the Siege of Gerudo Town without Riju taking any damage. Golden Bow with Keese Wings are very helpful for sniping the hives. Excellent guide for the Temple

Hey Austin. Was just playing through this temple. And noticed, the same cutscene did not play twice. The light moved a statue, that's a cut, then it goes across the way and hits the other statue and another cut happens. Love your commitment and content brother, good job!

yeah almost half the female NPC characters do that esp. when talking to link. I think since the game is rated E for everyone devs can only put so much questionable stuff in it, so they opted for implied adult material, like noble pursuit being an "alcoholic" drink, great fairies pulling link underwater to do an "upgrade" and gorons being addicted to.....something

I've watched it like 3 times just to hear your commentary lmao I haven't done the temple yet but I have activated the Gerudo shrine so I can get those 'gibby' things lol

For me, for the fight in Gerudo I built a little robot one wing, 3 lasers, 1 stabilizer, 1 head, and 2 batteries at the center of gerudo to protect Riju. Built a barrier in the north end, and stationed a gerudo on top. I Prioritized on destroying the north end gibdo mushroom.

Are you thinking of doing a guide on how to get the signature weapons? I stumbled upon the Goron one and there’s not a ton out there on that… Also, during the Getudo town assault, if you clear one hive out and stand by Riju, you can farm pretty ok. For the 6th floor, there’s a light target on the 5th floor that opens the passage. You just use a different coordination of the mirrors.

Boy, loved this quest more than the other 3... to be fair it was the only one (regional phenomena) that I enjoyed

Do you usually watch him for Pokémon guides ?

For farming gibdo bones, I just go to the depths, to the Gerudo Undergound Cemetary. You can get about 12 bones every blood moon. I don't really use them much anyway, I only farmed them to upgrade my radiant armor.

The fact the as said at start REFONAL FONAMINA is so fun

Based on what you said about the attack on Gerudo Town, I ran out quickly and destroyed all three hives first and then stayed right by Riju, only killing the enemies that came into sight. That way was super easy and there weren't nearly as many enemies that made it to that point as I could see coming out of the hives. After the battle, the goodies didn't despawn where I had been fighting but there was nothing outside of the city walls. I did kill a few out there.

I ended up doing this 2nd went counter clockwise. I wasn't ready for the boss fight cool dungeon. Love the light puzzle

I read the stuff done below, haha, I also did this last night For the final Queen Gibdo fight, I just used hoverstones, and ascended to get ontop of them. Then, I used a three shot gold lynel bow to get the elemental hit from ice and shock fruit, then gibdo bones. Get the critical shot, exit bullet time, and use something like a gold lynel blade. Run back to hoverstones, and repeat. Took maybe 4 or 5 minutes. Make sure to skip the last shot while the gibdo is stunned, or you could fall victim to the neck drop attack/ headbutt attack.

I haven't finished his temple yet, but with the gibdo queen first fight, after I used Riju's lightning to turn her white, I just used regular weapons that had fire attached.

I missed the 1st time too on the hot air balloon lift light aim thing. So it ain’t just you lol

The Gerudo part of this game is soooooo hard. I still can’t figure that mural out. I mean I have played every Zelda game and this is HARD.

The drops don’t despawn- at least completely. After protecting her I went and found some all over gerudo town

Took me the longest time to find the hidden blocks to move on the bottom one. Rigu needs to take off the high heels and keep up😅

Just a heads up for anyone wondering, with the last mirror you can also use a stake and rotate it with ultrahand.

For the 6th floor corridor that let's you drop in to the 1st battery, you're supposed to light up another green mirror while on the 5th floor. Move the one statue so the light isn't blocked, then go to the other side & move that statue to reflect to another statue, that will reflect the light up to another mirror switch that opens a way into that corridor.
