I was 17 when rehab was released and I listened to it almost everyday - not knowing what the lyrics really meant. Now 11 years later with almost 29 I feel a strong connection to this song. It reminds me of a lot of my past relationship. Breaking up with someone who you loved so deeply for 5 years really leaves a scar. No matter how toxic the relationship was - you still miss the person. You feel your heart breaking each day because you want him back... but you know well enough that it will never be good for you.😔
