Crazy thing is, even as a teen listening to this, sadly, I could relate. And i still stayed in that crazy toxic relationship for too many years. Listening back now as someone who lived through this, so many mixed emotions. Glad to be out of the situation, but the memories are like looking at yesterday through a haze. Drugs and violence will do that.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Although I'm still young and I don't really know what you've been through, I've been through shit phases myself and I know you'll be able to heal from that. It might not be complete and it might take time, but I promise that if you ended things with the one who treated you awfully then it's gonna get better. I know I'm not being of much help right now and I'm sorry I can't help you more than that, but I hope you get through whatever you're going through. It's the best I can do from my position, and know that I will pray for you and I'm with you. You're special, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You CAN and WILL get through this. I can't do more than wish you the best of things. Try to enjoy life as much as possible, because if you stay too long looking back, something from in front will come and you won't be ready. Put it behind you as much as you can, and try to live the best life you can. Just know I'm with you. Just a small word from someone here in Quebec.
