I think its her best album second only slightly to along with Good Girl... and a long was ahead of any other (Talk That Talk being #3 but not in the same league) but I dont understand how it defined the future of pop. Nothing on it jumps out at me as being trailblazing and influential when looking back. I think most of the song are strong with only a few weak tracks but don't get the "ahead of its time" thing. The Fame was a bigger influencer on the direction of pop music with electro and retro synthy dance sounds becoming big in pop in the years after.

I remember when I was stationed Ft Hood and EVERY morning the base had this blasting for PT when it came out 😂 Good memories and a great song 💯
