Why is the Gayatri Mantra missing? 3.62.10 ? because you still dont want other castes to learn?

it is not due to caste. the whole hymn is considered holy by brahmins. in neo-vedanta, the gayatri mantra is meant for every caste. hopefully one day the concept of caste can go away. if these brahmins were "racist" they would not want to share the whole hymn with anyone. there are definitely issues with caste, but this is a strange loaded question. there are other recordings with full recitation by brahmins. also gayatri mantra is also considered much more holy to prefix with "om bhur bhuva svah" from yajurveda rather than this rigvedic recitation without the prefix

@@susiebaka3388 I am a Brahmin and I am from India and I have obsessively researched the Gayatri mantra. Neo-Vedanta is a term coined by foreigners which I don't approve of. The Veda itself says that knowledge should not be hidden by the learned and the wealthy. I am well aware of the caste discrimination which happens in India, especially in case of Gayatri mantra. Also, caste has its place when properly followed. Although it may not be relevant in present times, it is one of the reasons of survival of India despite many foreign invasions and proselytization by other religions. Brahmins are very casteist. Yes there are many videos but you will rarely find one with proper vedic intonation. The Gayatri has different intonation in each Veda. Also not every Brahmin is racist. A rare few do put videos of Gayatri mantra, but like I said it is rare to find to find rig vedic, sama vedic etc, recitation. The whole hymn and this part obviously have different importance. Removing that hymn from the recitation is either to prevent other castes from hearing it or because of superstition.

@@VikramBhaskar There is no discrimnation of caste regarding vedic knowledge? Gayatri mantra with proper vedic intonation is not known by most even in India, not to talk about the world.
