Rigid Airship Ground Handling

The history of the rigid airship necessarily includes the evolution of the equipment and techniques used to manage them on the ground. From the earliest hangars built on the water to the massive tower masts built in the British Empire, this video contains rare images and footage of this often overlooked but vital aspect of the rigid airship experience.

This video was hidden by YT. I was searching for airship info in 2020 and your video never came up. This was a more than satisfactory video that was made on the air ships and I will recommend it.

Thanks to Richard van Treuren and Atlantic Productions for finding and posting this excellent video. I wish I had had it when I was writing my novel, "ZRS". I was rather pleased to see that in my descriptions of ground handling of airships, I got nearly all of it right. Rowan Partridge

Very nice video very nice footage I could do with all without all that vocalizing the background though it’s very distracting! Other than that it’s an excellent video maybe they could tone down the background music a little bit thank you!

It's a shame that rigid airships are such deathtraps.
