Rights in Russia interview - with Anna Bowles on two weeks in Ukraine

Anna Bowles is a freelance editor working for publishing houses in central London. She holds an MA in Russian Studies from the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies. She is also a writer and recently published a YA novel about a girl with bipolar disorder and an attitude.
Anna is also a pro-Ukrainian activist. In late March to April of this year she spent two weeks in East and South Ukraine, with her friends from the Freefilmers NGO, interviewing local people - especially women in rural communities - about their experiences and survival strategies. Anna blogged regularly about her trip and the blog fundraiser supports the people she met.
